re: Spirit XT285 Treadmill Reviews?

Feels like running on a treadmill- better than a road.
I’d say I split time between running and walking briskly, I learned years ago running isn’t for me, so I typically bike. Never felt any knee or other leg issues on it.
I went with the longer one with the idea that I’d have more runway for doing sprints on it - seems to help just not sure if that was necessary.
It’s super easy- bought a kit from amazon- long tube and whatever oil included- lift belt shove in tube and squeeze some out, rotate belt some and do again.

I have one, the longer version- would have to go look at exact model. Works well. It’s in a converted mother in law suite, and I typically only use in winter months or rainy days so probably only 1/3 the year. It’s probably way overkill for what I use it for, but figured it should last a long time. Bought from the fitness expo or whatever store in Baton Rouge- any specific questions?
Ive had it for 2 years and have just oiled the tree belt a couple of times

re: Looking for stomach area pain diagnosis.

I too did some physical therapy for lower back pain and talked to the PT about it- he didn’t seem concerned- I find if I don’t think about it, it goes away- he explained it not hurting during physical work that the muscles were getting more blood flow
I first noticed it while sitting/driving- honestly felt like a slight discomfort that I’ve felt before through my life but would always go away- I assume it’s muscular or some strange structural abnormality that’s finally showing up-
this may sound strange, but ever since I was a child, if I lay on my right side, and pulled my left knee up, it felt like my hip was hitting my rib and it was uncomfortable- so I just figure it’s related to that -

Interesting- I have something similar. 40, active- started a few months ago- sometimes it’s there and sometimes not- I think it’s muscle related- sometimes sitting with a pillow next to it helps- from my online research- I guess muscle- if I’m actively doing something- working out or biking, I don’t notice it- usually when I’m sitting
Also there seems to be some rib cage abnormalities like slipping rib or something I may have because sometimes it’s on the rib cage- not debilitating so I’ll just deal with it

Here to echo the others, my dad had a right hip total replacement 3 weeks ago- he’s 70, and a bit overweight (240lbs 5 8”ish). He said it was easier to walk after the anesthesia wore off than it was before the surgery. He’s been healing well and seems to be much better off. Time under knife seemed to be like 45 minutes, which is wild!
Hahaha especially your last year of undergrad
You spent 5 years on your masters and phd? Damn!
DCS engineer - pay 120 to 180 depending on experience and what level the position is looking for. Vacation most likely 4 weeks or possibly 5 if greater than 20 years experience

1st car- 1985 Honda civic wagon in 2001 with a 5 spd, fun to drive $1500
2014 Chevy traverse with 30k miles in 2014 for $25k
Next one will most likely be most expensive with these ridiculous prices

re: Deviated Septum Surgery
Posted by lurk9000 on 10/23/22 at 11:57 am to Pauvetibete
Had it done in 2018, had 90 plus percent closure in one nostril and had significant trouble breathing through my nose. Had septum straightened and turbinates reduced. I didn’t have any stints. The recovery took about 5 days. Then I was just extra aware of my nose, wouldn’t say it was super painful but then again I took the hydrocodone on a schedule. It was impressive what same out of my nose after surgery.
It helped me be able to breath through my nose. I still get allergies, but nothing like it used to be. I also use saline spray daily which I find helps a ton.

Now I know why the suspension sucked!
Just kidding.
Quiting all sugar was more difficult than quiting smoking. However both have been always short lived for me.
I think it has a lot to do with the habit and finding healthy new habits to replace the bad.

Google chantix ruined my life and see all of the examples of people whose lives are ruined. It is for litigation because it IS happening. I have seen what it can do first hand in my family as well as extended. I would not risk it nor ever advise anyone to risk it.
re: BR Area home inspectors

NOT Johnny Joiner! Did my inspection 5 years ago and a friends around the same time. He finished my inspection in less than 30 minutes and found no issues. No way he did a thorough inspection on a 50 year old home. Luckily there were no significant issues.
However, on my friends he missed live knob and tube wiring in the attic. It was in a pretty obvious location.
He was more of a salesman than inspector.

Don't recall- probably balance is incorrect since or the fraud one - I'll go back and see if I can check
Yes I had one from the speeding camera in baker. It went on my credit report. I contacted trans Union on their website via online dispute form. I put that I had no record of an agreement to purchase goodd or services. 1 month later it was off my credit report.
