Bases loaded walk in the 1st turned out to be the winning run.

The worst pitching decision CJJ made all night was coming in with Helmers after Dutton and Coleman failed. THAT was a crazy bad decision.

Huh

The pop up had no bearing on the game.

Certainly it did. It wasn't everything, but it had an impact on the final. As I said, we failed at the plate and on a pop fly. It might've bought us another inning.

I am not mad at Jake Brown. Young kid with a ton of talent and a great future. It is what it is, he'll learn from it and be stronger.

He’s a guy that fills the zone.

To be fair to the kid, they weren’t exactly barreling him up, they were just hitting it where our defenders weren’t.

Game 7 out the losers bracket, you don’t exactly have many options. LSU was extremely fortunate that Hellman pitched the game of his life.

Freudian slip? Thinking about nibbling on some nipples this morning? Haha.

going in to the game, it was very likely you were going to have to use him at some point in the game.
using him early with the entire game left to go is preferable to using him late with game on the line.

The reason that Dutton started was the walk ratio. He had only given up 6 walks the entire season. Now, one might argue that was because most of his pitches were barreled up but that is the reason. Put the ball in play and rely on the defense.

Made zero sense. Jay tried to steal an innings worth of pitching and got burned Bigly and was fortunate it wasn't worse than it was.

This is what cost LSU the game. Why would he start someone who has proven to be bad? This decision was mind numbing to say the least.

Not hitting with runners on base and in scoring position was the most costly thing to me.

The pitchers held North Carolina to three runs in nine innings. The bats should have been able to get four runs.

Basically get down a few runs early, to get the message out, and the need to score runs, be aggressive at the plate
