Watching paint dry is popular there!

Was there two weeks ago and walked outside the apartment to a dead body on the sidewalk. Dude tried to stab a cop and he lit him up. Just a terrible city IMO.

NASA was pretty cool. The Saturn V rocket they have displayed is pretty dang incredible, also you can drive down to Galveston to check out Moody Gardens.

quote:Mrs.Semjse lived in Houston when I met her. (In San Antonio) I moved there after Katrina and gradually got used to the concrete, traffic and congestion. After a year or so, I calmed the frick down and really started to like it there. (We were in League City, halfway between Houston and Galveston) A lot of things to do in Houston on the weekends. Dallas and San Antonio 3.5 hours away. Great Restaurants everywhere. (The best Mexican and BBQ) Texas Renaissance Festival in October and November. Astro's, Texans and Rockets. We went to Texas Southern University games when they played Southern, Florida A&M and Jackson State. (Just for the Halftime Shows) If and when we ever get tired of Florida and the Beach, we'd move back to Houston in a heartbeat! (Probably the Woodlands) H-Town is awesome, but you just have to learn how to manage it. (I was coming in straight from Mandeville Louisiana and it took me awhile to acclimatize) it's too intense for MOST Louisianians that are used to a slower pace, mediocrity acceptance and LOW VIBE!
Houston is the world capital for concrete, traffic and mexican food

You can get murdered by Katrina refugees who have pretty much turned S Houston into a slum.

I don’t know where you are from but I am guessing it is about a quarter size of Houston. If you can’t find something to do then that is on you!

The way you use parentheses is really awkward. Also, what in the wide wide world of sports does San Antonio have to do with Houston?
OP, go to the Houston Museum of Natural Sciences or one of the other many museums nearby, and avoid any restaurant that includes "Pappas" anywhere in its name.
