Maybe no one

Hence going in the portal to try and get a raise

$$$$$$$$$$$$$

the short term fix (tats and grills and cars) is more important than long-term goals.

Get used to it. Behind the scenes the going thing is
"jump in the portal and they will give you more money to stay" and if they won't, someone else will.

This is what college football has come to.

Is this a real question?

This is the correct thinking. There are so many things that go into it, both on and off the field. Others have speculated he wants to play with his former QB. Maybe he wants to be closer to home so family can come to his games.

People move on for various reasons. Some obvious, some not.

LOL at you justifying!

It is strictly short-term money, and that is how these people, or I should say the majority of, live. There is no long-term goal. Grills, cars, tats, and jewelry......all that matters. No loyalty at all. Let him go.

Unless those injuries just masked his ability to a great extent, he's not #1 WR material.

He is a solid catch receiver but he does not have the speed to burn an opponent deep. Also, may have something to do with the routes he was assigned but his YAC was low.

Wasn’t he hurt most of the season? Just doesn’t make sense. Him nor Pimpton make any sense other than tampering. IMO

This is probably your answer he sees Anderson becoming Nuss' go to and in reality Daniels is a possession receiver.

I hope this helps
his former QB is in the portal as well. If they both go to the same school, you'll get your answer, and it won't be because of money.

LSU obviously paid him for one year, but i doubt they wouldn't spend extra to keep him another year.

They probably do told him they are bringing in a guy from the portal. This would put him at 3 or 4

Very true.

Most of these kids are dumb and poor, and that’s not a good combination. They make short sighted decisions based on their current situation, and that might be aided by short sighted family members or others that don’t have their best interests as a priority.

He doesn't care that he will start
He doesn't care that he will be the #1 guy
He doesn't care who his position coach is
He doesn't care who the head coach is
He doesn't care if he gets developed
He doesn't care that he already knows the play book
He doesn't care how close the school is to his family
He doesn't care about facilities
He doesn't care who his quarterback is

He only cares about who is going to pay him the most money
