You’re saying orgeron could have set back the program for over a decade…

Explain that to me. 11, 12, or perhaps even 13 years is a longgggg time pal.

Miles inherited a team that literally could’ve went to the national championship game 3 years straight.

Don't forget, Miles made it back to the Natty after an undefeated regular season long after Saban left. How did Oregon do after his first Natty?
Gotta be Orgeron.

What Recent LSU Football Coach "inherited" the best team/rode the momentum?

Miles 1st. He inherited an established elite program, and to his credit, rode that well, kept it rolling for a decade with little drop off.

Saban 2nd. He inherited a program with elite talent, which he recognized- and did the necessary organizing and building to elevate the progam to elite.

Orgeron 3rd. He inherited a loaded roster with a decade's worth of organization and structure behind it. He was able to take the core of what he had and make one good run, before things collapsed.

Kelly 4th. Kelly inherited a name brand, and little else. The program was floundering, no direction on either side of the ball and seriously depleted roster. Zero momentum to ride, and still able to guide it to consecutive 9-3 regular seasons in the SEC.

The shortened version is: Miles inherited the best, and also rode it the best. Saban came into a good setup, and made it better than it had ever been. Orgeron came into a situation better than Saban did, was able to keep things running as long as he had Miles' core in place, then it crashed and burned when that group left.
Kelly is starting basically fresh.

This doesn't always work. Didn't work for Archer, or Hallman.

But if I had to say one I'd say saban. Dinardo recruited some great players in 1997-1999.

The correct answer is Archer. He was left with a team capable of winning the national championship. That team was loaded.

You are stupid, and don't know anything about evaluating talent and roster management.

Hot take on here but O inherited the best roster. I don’t think 2019 happens if not for that and recruiting Burrow

Miles is the easy #2 and what most people will say is #1
