These lists need to be clarified. If it is YOUR Top 10 all time Favorites then it's going to be subjective. If it is top 10 greatest of all time then there will be some criticisms.

Marcus Thornton was left off a lot of bball lists. Dude was ungaurdable one on one and scored in multiple ways. played defense, rebounded and played in the NBA. Ricky Blanton was a 6'6" forward forced to play center and took his team to the Final 4.

Two pages in and nobody has yet mentioned John Williams in Basketball.

Sigh.

No "best of" list will ever be universally approved, but your lists are very good, in my opinion.

I would also consider Bert Jones for inclusion. LSU didn't throw the ball a lot in those days, so his stats aren't gaudy, but he was a fantastic passer; one of the best ever.

If Albert Belle is not number one on your list I can’t take you seriously. Just the going up in the stands incident alone makes him one of my all time favorites.

Good lists. There are 2 basketball players that I would probably try to squeeze in, at least as an HM, that I haven't seen mentioned yet in this thread. Vernel Singleton was one of my favorite players ever at LSU. Also, Clarence Ceasar.
