I saw the Billy Cannon punt return replay last night more times than replays from the actually game.

The only replays that were shown were 4 plays that game under review, and those times we didn't even get the right look. I had to text people watching and home if the plays would stand.

It’s so dumb. Seriously, how much was that new Jumbotron? And they don’t even use it?

Also, it may have been the noise but it seemed to me like the audio quality on the PA system was poor. Never noticed that before.

Per college football rules home team are only allowed to replay once and it cant be slowed down it has the be at full speed this is a rule for every home team. Also home teams are only permitted to have up to 4 cameras they do not have access to espn etc whoever is covering the game, cameras for the replay.

Besides the heat in the SUMMER SOLSTICE game the lack of replays was my biggest bitch. It's one thing that can keep fans in the game. But LSU chooses to run commercials and recognize the recipient of the largest mushroom grown at LSU.

This has to be the dumbest rule in college football…and they wonder why attendance is declining and more people stay home to watch it on tv.

In Vegas I had to take my phone out to get replays on youtubetv. Everyone around me was huddled trying to see the replay on my phone. This needs to change because it destroys the experience of going to the game if you can’t see live replays of what just happened on the field in front of you.

That’s why I listen to the radio broadcast while I’m in the stadium. Everyone around me is like “what are they saying??”

Dumb rule.

I agree but they are worried about the home team rioting when the inevitable horrible call by the refs happens.

When has this ever happened? If it has, it is extremely rare. The MLS does this shite too and it is maddening of you are at the game and don’t know wtf is going on or why a foul / penalty was called. This pussy shite should not be part of football. Refs need to hear from the crowd when they screw up to keep them accountable.

How do we change this dumb rule? I remember as a kid the old jumbo tron showed videos and Tigervision in the stadium showed the replays.

Why can’t we just watch ESPN feed? I do not understand it.

What’s worse is the dumbass emcee / announcer doesn’t say shite as to what just happened. Or if he dies you can’t hear him.

The music way softer than in the past.

But again, we must change this ridiculous and stupid rule. They are ruining in game experience for fans.

Thought this as well. Probably to reduce the number of light up wristbands being launched.

I'd watch them on my phone but the terrible cell service doesn't help.

My parents were complaining about it, I noticed the lack of any replays.
But at halftime after the SEC highlights(UGA/Miss ST), the two Ole Miss fans seated in front, tuned to my mom and said,

'I think I've seen more Miss St, then OIe Miss plays on your scoreboard'

I can understand that. But do they, aka. the SEC, want riots in the stadium due to shitty calls of the officials who are paid a lot of money to get the calls correct in real time, as well as the replay officials who are there to help the on field officials get the call correct when it’s a no brainer they will miss something in a bang bang play and they are human and will make mistakes; or no one showing up to watch the game in person?

Bottom line is show on the stadium screen the replay; or if it’s under review, exactly what the replay officials are looking at. If the conference is scared of doing that it means they are putting their thumb on the scale in certain games which we all know happens regardless of the conference (I.e. Miami vs Virginia Tech)

We were joking in our section that the "reply option" with the new video system would have been an upgrade $$$. Or, they didn't do the software update.

That must have been a new rule to try to avoid the referee assassination.

I noticed this in Alex Box as well during Baseball season. It must be a newish NCAA sports rule in general.
