The best way is to be on the V foundation board of trustees.
Then, you won’t ever get a bad word from the media.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the v foundation funneled money to players to get them to the schools coached by their board members.

Don’t forget Kermit Davis and Bruce Pearl who cheat and get creamed over constantly. Don’t get it twisted the NCAA doesn’t care about cheating but the coaches who run things do care about outsiders who don’t come up through blessed channels.

Look, if ESPN wants to talk about the accusations against Wade and LSU, then fine.
As long as EVERY OTHER SCHOOL/COACH with past/current scandals gets the same treatment it's cool. Allowing Vitale to literally campaign against a school is beyond the pale.

The right way to cheat is one of two ways:
1) Be a school that cheated in the past in order to win enough to be a blue blood so now “everyone” expects you to be good
2) Be an Italian coach from the NE and have coached/are coaching at a national blue blood or Big East schools

Amidst trashing LSU during the LSU/Bama broadcast, Vitale actually had the stones to talk up his buddy Pitino and his current team and praise the good job Pitino was doing. The level of hypocrisy was astounding.

That level of hypocrisy is arrogant and self-serving. Does he not have a boss or a producer at ESPN on these broadcasts that can shut this down? Or is it only good for ratings when it's said about LSU?
