I love this one. 1 and 2 weren’t available. May as well skip 3-49 and go for 50, huh?

who did you have at 3 through 10?

I liked Herman but never wanted JImbo (incidently look what he accomplished in 2017, worse than O).

I started a thread about Mullen, but seemed everyone else on here thought he was garbage. Wouldn't have minded Fleck but he is probably just as, or more, risky than Coach O. I prefer O over Fedora.

Just curious of who your sure fire choices were?

Because that fact suggests that's he's not very good at the job. You keep saying circumstantial, but some circumstantial evidence is very strong.

Your problem is you couldn’t recognize a fact even if it stared you in the face, winked at you, and then spit in your eye. Nonetheless, he took over Les Miles’ very antiquated offense and ran it a hell of a lot better than Cam Cameron ever did.

Anyway, he has the job because both Aranda and O want him, and he changed his mind and took the job because he feels comfortable with both Aranda and O.

Moreover, Aranda says that Ensminger is a better play caller than Canada is, and if anyone should know, that would-be Aranda as he schemed against both of them every day in practice for the past two years.

Not to mention, that when Ensminger was calling the plays in 2016, his red zone offense scored 89 percent of the time and that’s off the charts.

In any event, what will make or break Ensminger is the development of Myles and Narcisse. Indeed, that’s what everything hinges upon. Plus, whoever wins the job will have to face Miami and Auburn in the first three weeks of the season. There is a lot riding on it, and that’s going to be a very tough row to hoe for any brand new green QB.

One of your problems is because you intensely hate O and insanely believe he is incompetent when he is not, even though he won 5 more games than you hate LSU/Coach O Negatigers claimed he would win last season and has recruited two very excellent recruiting classes to LSU in a row, now you morons are resorting to vilifying Steve Ensminger just because he agreed to become the offensive coordinator for coach O. So, for the sin of agreeing to a promotion on coach O’s staff, Steve Ensminger all of a sudden is now persona non-grata and considered completely incompetent. In other words, you idiots besides being incredibly dumb and stupid, or utterly unhinged as well.

Tell me again how E, O and Aranda are the best of friends.

I never said anything was sure fire. You’re taking a risk no matter what. That’s why you take calculated risks.

All of those names are better risks than getting drunk, going to Vegas, and betting your life savings on one spin of the roulette wheel, which is what the O hire was.

I know it is extremely hard to believe since you are a conspiracy theorist who believes that O took the job only as a get rich scheme and to destroy the LSU football program in the process.

Not to mention, that people that work every day together hand in hand couldn't possibly become close friends with a scumbag like coach O. After all, Aranda knows O is utterly incompetent and only stays at LSU because he feels sorry for him, and Ensminger, on the other hand, is only pretending to like coach O to sucker him into giving him a promotion.

I’d like to see a regression analysis on expensive third party coaching searches and success. We’re essentially paying for two coaching staffs.

How the hell do you know this? I guess we’ll find out how badly Aranda really wanted Ensminger. Bets on Aranda finding a new OC when he becomes head coach?

You can keep saying this as much as you want but it's a bold faced lie every time.

Don’t forget Rob Ryan fielded a top 15 defense for the saints that one year. Just for comparisons sake, one good year will not prove E can be real long term option.

The only team with decidedly more talent year-in, year-out is Bama. UGA maybe, but certainly comparable. At present, A&M, UF, and Auburn don't

A&M out recruits LSU on the offensive side of the ball by a long shot. LSU out recruits A&M on the defensive side of the ball by a long shot.

Auburn out recruits LSU on the offensive side the ball by a small margin and LSU out recruits Auburn on the defensive side the ball by a small margin.

UF is pretty much identical on recruiting both sides of the ball.
