Ok, fire Sloan. Well needed. Who is gonna call plays? Kelly??? Why would he put himself directly in the crosshairs against Alabama so he can get exposed even further. He isn't firing anyone during the season that has a significant role. If he does that then he won't have a scapegoat for the rest of the season.

I think he shouldn’t be in charge of that. Austin needs to have a say. He’s been around enough coaches to know who is full of it.

Fire him for cause. Make him go to court to receive total $. Make his wife tell the court why she filed for divorce. Dismiss the case based on morals clause in contract.....and if he sees that writing on the wall and doesn't want his name, wife's name smeared across the country, he will take the deal.
LSU would even allow him to resign stating that LSU just wasn't a good fit for him and his family.
Tell him that he will receive 25 million over the next 6 years if he keeps his mouth shut about anything negative about LSU in any way. He forfeits whatever is outstanding if he says anything negative.
I think this is a winning strategy for LSU...maybe the only one they have.
Under no circumstances should LSU pay him the full agreement without a fight in court or settlement.
LSU would even allow him to resign stating that LSU just wasn't a good fit for him and his family.

Phillytiger has been solid in the past. He might not bat 1.000 but good luck finding someone who does.
