What Happened to the Warren Morris HR Ball?

Does anyone know what became of the Warren Morris HR ball? Who caught it, and what he or she did with it? Where is it now?

Don’t know where the ball is, but I know for awhile the bat was at Skip Bertman’s Grand Slam. I got to hold it once—had only one mark on it.

My CSB... a buddy of mine many yrs ago won $20 off Billy Cannon at a cock fight. This was before the counterfeit scandal and unfortunately my buddy neither retained the $20 bill or had him autograph it.

I saw his gold jersey from the game at a baton rouge card show a couple months ago. A doctor had bought it years ago at an auction and they were trying to sell it again. Not sure if it sold. Seems like it would do better with a well known online auction house.

True story:
A friend and I were at the Bombay Bicycle Club around 1984-ish. We were standing at the bar next to two hot chicks.
We started chatting them up and my friend asked them if they would like a drink. We got them drinks and my friend went for his wallet and I said I got it and I pulled out $100 bill and said I’ll pay with this Billy Cannon.
We all laughed and one girl pointed to the other girl and said that’s Billy Cannon‘s daughter.
And it was.
We had a pretty good laugh. She was cool about it. But that’s about as far as it went.
