Seemed like he wasn’t much of a factor, at least not as much as he usually is.

They schemed around him. He’s 18 years old, he’ll have some bad games, this will serve as his wake up call.

When you allow the opposing offense to run for 275 yards, it tends to neutralize the pass rush

He looked slow in the couple plays I noticed him.

House refuses to make in game adjustments. He does make half time adjustments but needs to talk to Kelly first.

Same reason Ali Gaye and BJ Ojulari were absent. They didn’t have to throw it on us.

Pass rushers get negated when you get your shite pushed in in the run game.

It was kind of impressive to be honest. They found him on the field and adjusted formation to put him in coverage.

But, he is Heisman worthy! Pfft. Needs to learn how to be a run stopper first.

So he’s purely a pass rusher then? I guess I’m forgetting he’s a true freshman. I thought he had some contribution in previous games against the run though.

Nothing happened to Harold. The QB did not scramble, the QB rarely threw the ball, because 6 was kicking our arse!

Remember when everyone tried to tell the “Perkins is too good to ever come off the field” crowd that he struggled when you run at him? I do.

This was exactly the kind of game he wasn’t ready for. If you were surprised that he didn’t have more of an impact then you weren’t paying attention.

How to neutralize Perkins

“I think you run right at him. He seems to struggle more with taking on blockers and filling holes. He turns into Superman when he gets to rush the QB or play the spy role.”

And another thread

“Seeing all his plays is more informative than seeing only his highlights. It also explains why Kelly has been bringing him along as they have been. Perkins isn’t Ray Lewis. He’s not Devin White (yet). But he is incredible at what he does well. This full clip of all his plays let’s you see what he does well and what he still needs to work on…
