What gets fans back into the stands?
Posted by DhanTigers212

I think this is a serious issue. It’s not just baseball either. It’s also football and basketball. I mean I know people are going to say “winning” but it’s unrealistic to expect to have a “2019” season every year. Will it ever be the same again?

It’s called winning. And it better start soon.

Winning, the hotdogs ain't what they go for.

I’m guessing your referring to the bleacher seats down the lines and outfield? I agree.

Are season tickets available?
I’m curious to know if it’s that there are that many season ticket holders that just don’t show
Have their business or whatever buy them, put them on stub hub & if they don’t sell then oh well
I haven’t looked this season but usually they want high prices for grandstand tickets

Don’t matter what you do to the stands, when you have a mediocre, at best, product on the field, the stands aren’t going to be full.

A severe reduction in television coverage. It isn't the stadium, or the concessions or any of the bull shite people suggest. It is winning, traffic leaving football, and the ability to watch from your couch in a 68 degree house.

Not having a stadium with 2/3 metal bleachers in searing hot south Louisiana for a spring/summer sport is a good start. It’s why I don’t go.

For baseball- winning
For football- all night games, less traffic headaches
For basketball- that ship has sailed

Lots of factors, obviously, but Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Arkansas don't seem to have trouble filling seats.
LSU fans don't care about going to the games unless LSU plays an exciting brand of baseball and is competing for championships. None of that has happened in a good while.

Friday and Saturday games in South Louisiana should all be night games with the heat!

I know a lot of people that still don’t participate due to politics

Seats that don’t hurt your back and leg room to be able to sit a whole game. Good worth paying for. Parking easy to get in and out.

Fewer games on TV.
What’s the motivation to go sit and roast in 90 degree heat when you can just kick back in your air conditioned living room with the best seat in the house?
