Had a “shot at” winning? Texas game

Knew he pretty much had it in the bag? Bama game.

Going into the Bama game, I thought he had a chance. After the game, I thought he was the favorite. After UGA, I saw no way he could be denied.

I have to imagine it was a lot like the long screen pass by UGA in Tiger Stadium in '03.

Except it didn’t , and the way the fans responded after that set the tone for the rest of the path to the National Championship.

The fans chanted L-S-U L-S-U in an epic way after that touchdown

3rd and 17 was it. The Alabama QB run did it though.

I was more confident at winning the title than joe winning the heisman. Voting anything can happen. I thought he deserved in the bama game.

Vandy.

The stats building the way they did in that game showed it. Texas proved he was great and could win the big games. But trashing teams like Vandy the way you should (and LSU hasn’t always done) is how you get the stats to win a Heisman.

Bama...that was the game the majority of Heisman voters were waiting to see if he could do what he has been doing all year against Bama in BDS in my opinion...

I knew we finally had an elite QB 2018 vs. The U.
The check to Brosette's TD run on an assumed passing play was pure gold.
All the pundits this post season make statements about they never saw this coming. Anyone that follows the game will tell you this brew began in 2018

Had a shot after TX win on the road and become a top-tier candidate after UF win on a Saturday night in Death Valley. He became the frontrunner after beating Bama and Tua on the road, and he never looked back.

The very first game when we obliterated the point spread. We weren’t playing around

Shot at, Texas. Would win barring huge and unlikely screw up over multiple games, Bama. In the bag, Georgia.

Told me this team was truly different. They went out and made a play to win.

When we just cut through UF defense like it was nothing. Was pretty evident at that point that the Offense would roll on just about anyone.

The play already mentioned against UT.

My only concern that point in the season was would the defense lose a game.
