Alabama had no business playing in that game. That's what pissed me off the most and then it was the weak game planning.

31-0 loss to Alabama in '02

Not saying it qualifies as the most important loss, but it was the most disgusted and mad that I've ever been in Tiger Stadium. Tennessee '05 was close, but I got over it pretty quickly considering the circumstances

This happened right about the time I moved to SC.

What about giving up a fricking 4th & 16?

They sold fugly orange "4th & 16!" t-shirts in Wallyworld over here for over a year.

If LSU somehow loses to the Gamecocks in October ... I will have to quit my job and move. It'll be too much to take.

What bothers me most is that earlier in the season when top 5 Oklahoma lost a home game to Texas Tech, they were still considered a title contender. They would have gotten the benefit of the doubt and played on 1/9 had that been their only loss. They ended up losing to Baylor and OSU so it didn't matter, but with only the one loss, they were still in the driver's seat.

Then ISU beats OSU and the talking heads made it seem like a season-crushing loss, and they shouldn't play in the natty. To ESPN, a home loss to TTU, a team that finished with a losing record, is not as bad as a road loss to a hot team that went bowling. Nonsense.

I haven't felt the same about LSU football since 1/9/12. That was just pathetic

The 82 loss to Tulane and the loss to Miami-Ohio. Both in Tiger Stadium, no less. Also, falling behind 31-3 to Troy even though the comeback was pretty nice.

The 21-0 loss not so much b/c Bama was widely considered to be the only team that could stay with the Tigers. It should have been best of three instead of "last winner is the champ" but there were legal reasons why that couldn't happen.

Excluding 1/9...Bama, in Tiger Stadium. We had AJ Mc fricking crying in their bench.....crying!

Since that game, Jesus Christ could come down and tell me Les knows what he is doing, and I wouldn't believe him. I know we'll always be competitive with Les and his recruiting success, but never expect us to have a game day coaching victory by our head coaches decisions.

And that's also when I realized Chavis was a lazy, stubborn, best days gone, dumb fat arse who can come thru in the clutch.

So it was a bad loss, but also proved so many bad things I was ignoring before.

I have never had a game make me "most mad." The 21-0 mulligan game we lost to Bama, however, did make me the "maddest."

Aside from 1/9/12--the obvious--losing to Ole Miss 27-24 in 2013 with their depleted 3rd string defense really sucked. We had Hill, Mett, Landry, and OBJ and lost to a far less talented team.

les miles first home game against Tennessee on Monday night.

walking to the stadium the official tiger stadium PA speakers inside the scoreboard were playing "It's my life" by bon jovi.

Les Miles told Tiger Nation that the LSU program "is his life and not ours" by him taking the air out of the football in the second half. If he continues to be aggressive with his LSU program the Rick Clausen can't come back and win the game.

I would say 1/9, but I honestly didn't have a good feeling about the game.

To be honest, losing to Clemson pissed me off pretty bad.

we were never really in that game. in the 06 auburn game, we were about to bust there bubble before the "non-pass interference" call busted ours. it was one of the worse days of my life.

I've been on blood pressure pills ever since that very day. I took 12 advil from 6pm to midnight that day. the headache just wouldn't go away. had to go to the doc next day because of blood pressure.

I just had a bad feeling about 21-0 from the jump...I was hopeful but not very confident. Bama shouldn't have been there, and I just didn't know if we'd beat them again. But I definitely see why it is the most painful.

Both of the last 2 home Bama games, the Clemson bowl game, the 2013 Ole Miss game, 2014 Arkansas were all bad losses IMO. These were giveaways.

I was about to post about the 2004 bowl game against Iowa. Completely blown coverage.
