2019 probably never happens in that scenario. A second title buys Les another year or two for sure.

There was also an incident at the Varsity where he pulled a gun on the person working the door.

Was that the night Xavier Carter treated said bouncer’s car likes trampoline?

There was gossip about Perrilloux being involved in incidents at the Varsity and Kona Grill. I think The Reveille wrote an article on one of them, based on anonymous sources.
I heard from somebody who would know that after he was dismissed from the team, Miles called in a few reporters who covered LSU and told them on background that Perrilloux caused more trouble than all the other players combined. And he even asked the guy "Ryan, do you just not respect me?"

True, true.

Certainty this 5 star recruit did not play at that level for LSU throughout much of his career.
And he obviously did several things to deserve the reprimands he received. Some of his misdeeds were cited in posts above.
But he does deserve some praise and good thoughts for his performance in the conference championship game which helped propel LSU into the national championship game.

The Varsity incident was absolutely not gossip...it happened. A good friend of mine was running the Varsity at the time and detailed it to me. I forget all of the specifics, but Perilloux absolutely pulled a gun at the entrance. I think it had something to do with them not wanting to let his gf in...but I don't recall.
LSU/the cops leaned on the Varsity people to keep the whole thing quiet and some behind-the-scenes deal was worked out that made everyone happy-ish. The guy who ran the Varsity absolutely wanted to press charges, but was persuaded not to.

When he actually got in games, he actually lived up to the hype though.

Yup.
And he played well at Jacksonville State. I was hoping he'd be a success in the NFL, I liked watching him play in those couple starts and other appearances at LSU.
I used to say "Ryan11 - football smart, life stupid." But it seemed that he had matured a bit after he left LSU.

Fight was at Varsity. I think Mickey Loomis's son was a victim.

Co-worker at my last job lives in Baton Rouge and related stories, to me, of seeing RP and his mama in Wal-Mark's. He was, she indicated, a baby, literally talking to his mama like he was a child. Thus, not the sharpest knife in the drawer and easily led.

I’ll tell you what the final straw was….it involves someone extremely connected to the Saints… want to hear?

Yea his son worked with us at the Varsity and was one of the most peaceful dudes you could meet.
One of our bouncers used to play cornerback at Iowa State and fricked up Derrick Odom one on one in the V. The ensuing melee went about you would expect with pack mentality.
After it spilled out back, one of the players busted out the window of the BMW Mickey’s son and his girlfriend (now wife) were retreating in and were threatening to kill him because he had on a Varsity shirt. Mickey Loomis happened to own that car. By 3 am he had Skip on the phone cussing and telling him to get a hold on the situation or they would never draft LSU players again.
By the way the former Iowa State cornerback was a black dude from Plaquemine and the quiet type, the type that once you caught those hands you instantly regretted. The next time I saw him at work I said “yo bro what happened with you and Odom?”
His only response: “I spilt that n*****s dna right there on that dance floor.”
Don’t frick with the quiet ones.

It was after closing time and he and Derek Odom refused to leave. They got pushed out and started fighting the bouncers. Basically Perrilloux felt disrespected in front of his girlfriend.
When they were being pushed out they started fighting and were losing. He then threatened to go to the car and get a gun. When the cops came they said that the bouncers were manhandling his pregnant girlfriend and he and Odom were targeted because they were black (even though it was 215am and they refused to leave).

pretty sure his final incident was getting pulled over leaving the strip club in Port Allen. I don't think they arrested him but they told the staff, he got drug tested, failed for coke, and got the boot
definitely a huge what if in program history....The Hatch/Lee combo changed Miles going forward.
