The constant bitching even for the rant is embarrassing. The ceiling was always 8 games at best. It's a pieced together roster that had 39 scholarship players at one point.

This is and always going to be a rebuilding year. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

How many threads need to be made of this? Pretty sure this is like the 5th one today.

6-6, but we see gradual improvement as the season progresses.

The star gazers just saw all the talent on our roster and couldn’t help themselves but think we’d win 10 games. Problem is talent is just a measure of potential. Our most talented players are not our hardest workers. Kelly will bring in a full class of talented players who want to work hard and usher the others out the door. This Saban video explains what is going on with the team right now. Get the right people on the bus and the wrong people off. More players you don’t expect may leave in the off season and that’s just the natural filtration process that is going on.

I expected to see the team improve through out the year. I expected we would see good coaching and we would just lose some games on not having a full roster.

Saturday we saw horrendous coaching decisions and a boring bland shite offense and a special teams that keeps being special needs week after week.

I'm fine with 50 more threads if it drowns out the morons who are acting like the program is in danger of collapsing because LSU could potentially be 4-4 in their first eight games with a piecemeal roster and a coach in his first year with the team.

We were improving up to that auburn game. How you think our players dealt with that little bit of success? A lot of this stuff is less about on the field coaching and more about the players choosing to do the right things every day to get better.

The delusional rant said all summer long we would win 8 games this year and possibly even 9 or 10. Trying to tell people they were setting themselves up for disappointment was a lost cause

I thought we'd be 7-5 or 8-4. 6-6 looks a little bit more likely to me right now though

7-8 wins. I gave BK a lot of leeway in his first year considering what he took over, this was always going to be about establishing his culture and getting the right guys in place to accomplish that.

This.

These baked-in excuses of the 39 players yada yada should have been retired after the Miss State win. Not to mention these excuses don't hold water with this modern day and age of portals, transfers etc. It's a progression week to week thing, not a beta view of always having an excuse card to play like OP has ripped off from like 100 other posters using the same tired and worn out justification. Only losers continue to recycle this piss poor justifications for getting embarrassed last Sat and regressing.

The most concern thing is our offense is a Dino shite fest. BK had a open check book and chose old as dirt Denbrock and his outdated system. It’s not a system that can beat bama.

I think BK can get us turned around but I wish he had hired a better oc, one that he hadn’t fired before.

I wasn't expecting 10 wins, but 6-6 would be disappointing. The same record as last year with an offense and special teams that has regressed with what is supposed to be an upgraded staff is not ideal.

I saw 7-5 as the most likely outcome, but some teams that were supposed to be good are bad and vice versa. I still think 7-5 is about where we will fall, which isn't bad considering what O left us with. I'd be very happy to see 8-4 especially with some tough games down the stretch.

I do think that ST is killing us and without those mistakes we beat FSU and keep Tennessee a closer game

I thought this year's team would make our 2019 team look like an early 90's team

FFS, this sycophant line needs to die. You had 39 players because of injuries, academic suspensions, and weed suspensions. It has no bearing whatsoever on the shitshow that is 2022.

I expected 7-5 perhaps 8-5 with a bowl win.

As long as the roster gets physically and mentally stronger over the next two seasons, I am good in waiting patiently. As long as progress is building, I will be ok with coach Kelly and his assistants.
