What could have been if we landed Montgomery and Burns.

Probably wouldn’t make a massive difference but with the way those two guys are playing for A&M and Wake, could have really helped this team this year.
Especially Montgomery with someone to protect tanks in the lineup.
I remember correctly, we were in it for both of them. Anyone know why we missed out?

If we only got Montgomery to pair with Tommy I believe we have at least 4 more SEC wins. He is unreal right now. I think he leads the SEC in RBIs and has 19 homers.

I thought at one point we were the front runner for Burns. Not quite sure how Wake landed him. No way the gave him a bigger bag.

Neither of them have frick all to do with the reason we are losing games. Offense.
ETA: Montgomery would have helped, sure. But with this lineup, it would be like a band-aid on a bullet hole.

Don’t know why A&M. If he went to Stanford NIL wasn’t a huge deal I’m sure. Kid is from Madison, Mississippi so most thought he was moo state bound. Brought this up on Moscona’s morning show two days ago. Big loss.

With the way our hitting is right now, it doesn’t matter who is on the mound.
You could have skeenes out there still but if you’re only going to manage 2-3 runs you’re not going to win very many games

I'm not sure why people ever thought this.
HIs agent wanted him out of the SEC. He was either going to TCU or Wake.
