What do overalls have to do with this? Are you suggesting a uniform change here?

I'm also interested to know what this is. I'll hang up and listen.

Hal Hughes showing improvement (because players CAN get better between seasons) and sticking it up everyone's arse when he bats about .285

I'm hoping that since we have so many undecided position battles and so many bats relative to last year that coming out flat against in-state opponents stops being an issue this season.

I agree that in the aggregate mid week games don't mean much. But individually they are opportunities for every player to get better, and hopefully for back ups to get action and push the starters.

It's one thing to drop a couple in state games here and there because you're playing your backups and they're just rusty or still getting used to the college game or what have you. But we've gone into midweek in state games with our weekend line up and just slept walked through them and took the loss. Those are the ones that rightfully piss people off.

I'm looking forward to a new hitting coach finally giving them the halway decent approach at the plate they haven't had since Andy left or Pawl getting canned if they can't figure it out. It's about time we get back to being the dominant program we should be and not losing so many midweek games to garbage teams.

-Being patient with the team in february and march only to get drunk and rant big time the night of an sec loss in game in april....followed by us coming back to win the rest of that weekend series.
-The beer in the stadium
-bringing my daughter to a few games
-debating on here about some argument similar to the chris reid/jake slaughter debate.
-boiling some crawfish, drinking beer watching an away game
-staying up until 2am watching some friday night/saturday morning extra inning sec game

If Eddie has improved the approach at the plate and hopefully see the pitchers stay healthy.

I have never been to the New Alex Box Stadium. I would like to attend a game this season when the weather is in the 70’s or 80’s.

Watched many a game at the old Box. My first game was a regional against Jackson State in 1986 ? My grandpa and I shared that game together.
