If you got them from stub hub you will not get your money refunded unless the game is cancelled. If the game is moved the new location will acknowledge your tickets. That's what StubHub told me today.
I don't doubt that is what they told you, but it's bullshite.....All tickets for NRG will be void and new ones will have to be purchased for the new venue. Can you imagine the nightmare of seating with tickets assigned in another stadium?

Are you fricking serious? I have no desire to go anywhere else except maybe the dome. I don't see how they can do that.
Stub hub is essentially a scalper. They aren't going to eat the costs most likely. If bought from the direct source (LSU or nrg)they would issue a refund.

You should hear something by June of 2018

We bought tickets for the game through the Houston Texans at NRG. Does anyone know how they would possibly handle those tickets?

Now that it's decided can you grumpy asses now give us some insight?

Yeah, wait for an answer from NRG. Don't ask for info from a message board that would not have any info to give about the situation.

So my tickets i bought through LSU will be automatically refunded
Makes sense
Amazing how pissy some got when I asked that question yesterday
Daughter stranded in Houston probably won't make it

I'm guessing Ticketmaster is the same as stub hub. So are all tickets through Ticketmaster now void as well with no refund?

I can't imagine that to be the case. I'd imagine ticketmaster will issue refunds.

We bought tickets through NRG and we still plan on going to game in Nola. So would we have to return them and order new ones? Keep them and have the super dome send us new seats?

That would be a nightmare. New tickets would have to be issued with new section numbers close to what you purchased. I don't know, that just doesn't sound feasible to me, with less than a week before the game.
I don't think this true. Game in New Orleans will be General Admission like the South Carolina game two seasons ago.

What?? Im fairly certain this is incorrect.
You will have assigned seating just like all games if you purchase a ticket to LSU-BYU in Nola.
It will NOT be general admission, lol. not sure where you got that, but it's wrong info.
