Granted 95 isn’t what he used to be 20 years ago. But still impressive. I think 2-3 more have the possibility to get there as well and this isn’t counting Noot.

And a couple more will join the staff.

Interesting that we’ve already got more guys with outings than we did all of last year.

This definitely seems like a less top heavy team than last year. We had a few guys that had to do well or else things would crumble. This year is like an embarrassment of riches.

What do you mean by this? 95 mph is exactly the same velocity as 95 mph was 20 years ago. Or do you mean that just more pitchers are throwing 95.

Well, he meant more pitchers are throwing 95, obviously. But also, they measure velocity differently than they used to

20 years ago velocity was measured at the plate. Today it’s measured out of the hand.

We rarely saw 95 so it was harder to hit. Now everyone throws 95 and you learn to hit it much easier.

95 is pretty much still what it was in college ball 20 years ago.

Yep..you are correct.
Today it's all bout the wow factor and that's all these new fans talk about

Nolan Ryan would hit 110 today if his velo was registered from his release.
