how can you people say they were booing the coaching...i was watching it on tv and when the fans saw lee going in they cheered but then when jefferson went in they booed...i mean seroiusly my son even asked why they were booing jefferson...it's not all his fault...yes he is not the qb we thought or need but he's ok...what about the play calling...they know what he can do why are they making him do things he cannot...and as for the receivers if i was jefferson i would have chewed their butts out at half...did they have butter on their hands or what

Fans hate the option play... that's obvious.

fans hate the option when it doesn't work...but when you gain 5-10 yds on it they say "now why don't the coaches call that play more often"

If you were in the stadium, its obvious some of that booing was directed towards JJ and the coaching. The people around me made it obvious the way they were talking throughout the game.

People cheered when Lee came in and they booed JJ when he came out. It's clear people are booing JJ.

Which is fine. I'm not a fan of booing your own players, but you can do what you want. But to then come here the following days and then lie about what you were booing... that's just cowardice. At least own your boo. Trying to hide behind "I was booing the coaches" is not even a good lie, and it just shows complete moral cowardice. Stand by your actions.

I think the fans were booing Miles and Crowton...their way of saying that they want to see Lee.

I enjoy the option not so much for what it does in the field but for what it does in the stands. LSU runs the option and you can almost hear the crowd preparing themselves for raining down the boos. Then the play gains 5 yards and you get mild clapping. It's entertaining to say the least.

I'm sure a few idiots actually booed JJ, but there are idiot fans at every program. Almost all the booing was directed at Les Miles and he deserved every bit of it. Les Miles is so ignorant, that he doesn't even realize that he was the one getting booed.

Except for the fact that almost none of the booing was directed at any coach.

So when Jefferson over threw receivers, y'all were booing the coaches for that?

Actually Salmon I was . I was booing the fact that Miles refuses to make a QB change even though JJ is ineffective .

most of the fans were, but don't kid yourself about all of them just booing the coaches.

Does it matter?

Anyone who would boo anyone for doing something that they themselves cannot do is pathetic.

All of you who boo are pathetic and classless and you don't deserve to be considered "fans".

How can you tell WHAT 92,000 people are booing?
Are there lasers that are emitted from the boo-er to the target of the fan's scorn? If you're hollering down from Upper East Side, what if you miss your "boo aim?" and hit JJ instead of Les?

Trying to read 92,000 fans' minds and make a definitive statement, calling all those who don't hold your reasoning liars or cowards? That's kind of ballsy.

For the record, I was not at the game. Heard the boos on TV.

So what did you do to let JJ know that he wasnt being booed??? I have been waiting for a way to distinguish my boos because if there is a way to tell a amateur athelte who has confidence issues as it is and is making good effort but not having good results to not feel like he is being booed and not suffer even worse confidence issues as a result of thinking that I may be booing then I may start booing!

They were booing both. Mostly the coaches with option calls, etc. But then JJ too when he'd run after only dropping back a second or so and when he totally missed on those two passes in the 4th.
