Poor shot selection and poor shooting were the main reasons for this lost. We need to find a consistent shooter for this team.

Nope. It's okay to admit that a team is better and Auburn is better. I believe we could beat them if we played again.

I mean, our starting shooting guard was scratched 10 minutes before a road game against the number 10 team in the country, and we don’t have a true backup at the position. That particular “if” is a pretty damn big deal. Nothing wrong with acknowledging how it changed the game’s dynamics

Losing Murray was huge. Not only is he one of, if not our best on ball defender, he’s someone who can hit an open 3 and finish through contact. K.D. Johnson killed us tonight but I don’t think that happens with Murray out there. Losing him also threw our rotation way off and we didn’t get that normal boost from our bench. It’s one game, our F game vs their A game and we still had chances we just blew em.

Really need to see a neutral game. But based on what I saw tonight, their weaknesses weren’t as detrimental as ours. And so it seems they were at least a better team tonight

I’m not the one calling college athletes playing their hearts out for our entertainment pussies. I’m the one calling out the garbage posters that are calling them pussies.

How are we better than them? I believe we could beat them and we had about as bad of a start as one could imagine, but how are we better than them?

The Block shots killed us. The next time we play them we need to drive and dish the ball with guys crashing the boards. Going up one on one with a big is a losing proposition. You have to know those limitations and how to create an advantage from their strengths.

Wade should have made Kessler a stronger damn offer. He was a man amongst boys out there tonight.

They do take low percentage shots but the worst part of that is, they took a bunch in the most critical junctures of the game. Instead of penetrating for an open kickout, foul or easy bucket to cut into the lead, they take a deep 3 with someone in their face when they are down 6-8 points and then Auburn turns around and hits a 3 and pushes the lead higher. The game could have been close had they made some of the easier shots they missed that weren't forced and were higher percentage shots. Think they will get better though. Auburn is a pretty good team.

Auburn wins at Auburn. LSU wins in the PMAC. I’d like to play them again in Nashville.
