I almost want to agree with this take. After the horrible 18-1 start, LSU outscored Auburn the last 32 minutes of the game.

The matchup is closer than the final score indicated, but Auburn is a damn good team.
I do think the dynamics are entirely different if we have Murray. I’ve cold outside shooting lead to LSU forcing drives right into Kessler’s chest where he dominated. If we hit a few of those early 3s, the entire game’s dynamics change.
Having Gaines available to come off the bench instead of playing at SG also helps Pinson avoid fouling out.

KD would have done absolutely nothing if refs weren’t letting him claim around into our players and get fouls called for him

Too many I, Me, Mine players on the team. They all want the ball and take terrible percentage shots. Not as good as advertised for sure.
