That ThugU game was nuts. I forgot that was Steve Walsh who tore us a new one.
-Was at Earthquake
-Nix to Twillie (one of the loudest I remember... Nix stopped in the end zone and got DDTd WWF-style in the NEZ)
-Vandy 97 was just fricking strange all around. I swear I heard Cecil Collins' femur snap right in front of me, game ended with blocked extra point
-first and only game in student section was FLA 97 a week after Candy
-Peach Bowl Rohan Davey 2nd half takeover was pretty great

1977 Rice game. 77-0.
2000 overtime win against Tennessee was awesome too.

LSU 17, Ole Miss 16. Bert Jones threw a last millisecond strike to Brad Davis in the conner of the end zone. The crowd erupted and was about to run out on the field. Fortunately someone remembered that the XP still had to be kicked.

I was there also. Stayed to the end. As far why - I'm not sure.

2004 BCS National Championship Game
I went with my father and we sat in the upper deck, in the end zone. The experience was amazing. It was the greatest Christmas gift I ever received.
After bringing my father home that night after the game, I turned right around and went back to the city. There was NO WAY I was not going to miss this party. I picked up a few friends and we headed for Bourbon Street.
I met so Torris Bright, whom I would later become friends with due to unrelated circumstances. I also met Travis Daniels, Justin Vincent, Corey Webster, Eric Edwards, LaRon Landry, and Randall Gay. I also heard that Nick Saban was around but I honestly could not recall if I saw him by that time of the night.
It was one of those days that I do not think I will ever be able to top

2005 Arizona State at LSU in Tempe, AZ (with field painted LSU colors)
- Game moved because of Katrina
- Les Miles debut as LSU coach
- My only trip to the state of Arizona so far
- Band members who went to the game were put up in a fancy resort
- I think the band also did some weird walk-out-on-the-field thing with the ASU band at some point
- Only time in five seasons I had beer thrown on me when I was marching into a stadium before a game
- Fake punt, blocked kick returned for TD, blocked punt returned for TD, fourth down TD "catch"

That LSU-Loyola Marymount game was incredible. 134-134 in regulation! Final was 148-141, LSU win. THAT LSU team should have been undefeated through the entire season with the talent they had. O'Neal, Roberts, Jackson, Williamson, Singleton, Sims, Duvall.... Wow! Watch this game and marvel at how GOOD this team was capable of being. U.N.R.E.A.L.

2007 Arkansas. Triple OT loss and then every game of meaning the next seven days.
I was at that game. I thought I just witnessed LSU piss away their hopes of another championship. Could not stop McFadden, Jones, and Hillis. Then everything that had to go our way did and we end up winning it all anyway.
1999 Ms State game at Starkville was wild at the end. My dad and I were sitting right there with everyone else in the LSU section. We all had a clear view of the goal line as the defense stuffed their RB preventing him from breaking the plane... then the refs signal TD. The entire section jumped out of their seats and were livid. This was before instant replay of course so the play stood.

Although that game was boring as shite until the last 30 seconds. Absolutely awful performance
