Everyone saying it's the NCAA isn't paying attention.

Hate to break it to you guys, it isn't just Louisiana that has potential weather in the area during May and June, yet we seem to be the only one postponing games by 2+ hours when rain isn't imminent.

They keep pushing it back and there's a storm that might actually move in. Would suck to have to play this game tomorrow simply due to dumbassery

LSU better win. If you’re gonna frick with everything so you can have every single iota of control, then you better win.

Watch your mouth. This is all Jay.

Doesn't the NCAA make the call? We live maybe 8 miles east of Lsu.

It definitely stormed for 15 minutes at 2:30 but it's clear now. No reason we couldn't have started on time. No reason we aren't warming up right now. There's nothing on the radar nearby for the next few hours.

The Weather Channel future-cast radar shows a couple of small cells forming west of Brusly and passing right over Alex Box between 6 and 7ish.

Because Jay Johnson
We all know it’s him. What’s most aggravating is that - for whatever reason - Jay is too scared to say publicly he is the one behind delaying the game. Instead we get some mysterious boogey man (maybe it’s the NCAA, maybe its ESPN) and yet in today's Information Age nobody can give us a name.

And it’s only the Baton Rouge Regional that this (delaying a game with no rain and no lightning) has happened repeatedly. TV crews and NCAA reps come and go. The only constant is Jay Johnson.

Sadly, the guy is going to keep on doing it and then hiding when fans start asking legitimate questions.

It'll be half full due to this shite.

What's his incentive for doing this besides killing his crowd?

NCAA needs to threaten Jay with no more postseason at the Box if he does this shite again next year

He doesn’t want to lose his starting pitcher to a delay.

My biggest pet peeve with Jay is that he is an insane micro manager to the point where he gets in his head a lot.

It's why he has a stick up his arse during all the in-game interviews because he is being taken away from the game for 2 minutes in the third inning.

Every other coach, Vitello included, handles those interviews better than him. So it is possible to do them without sacrificing success.

Lightening and heavy rain in the Feliciana parishes north of BTR. It's within 10 miles, and moving south. Doubt the game has any rain. The Lightening is another matter.

Maybe if it was Friday or Saturday but not on a Sunday. Plus people are getting fed up with this shite too. Why even bother trying to go to games when this happens every week

LSU has a clear advantage with their starting pitcher.
