Would not shock me in the slightest if the loser of LSU/Arkansas goes 0-2. Especially if the first game is an emotional/close one.

UCLA and Murray State are both really good teams.

I don't believe either are going 0 and 2. If LSU can get the win against Arkansas in the 1st game, they will face each other again in LSU's game 3.

You think coastal is the strongest team in the field?

Arky has the most talent - everyone agrees on this. LSU has a great chance IF they are clicking at the plate.

Coastal has played at an elite level and has excellent pitching as well as can flat out his. They swept through the third toughest conference in baseball and have the coaching to lead them. When you lose Doyle and put up those numbers, you’re an excellent team.

This is about a team that will not beat itself and not who if the most talented collection of players. We’ve seen both LSU and Arkansas at their respective worse losing to TAMU and look terrible.
To top it off, the park is pitcher friendly.

Coastal is a fundamentally sound team. They pitch and play defense well. They are one of the lower offensive teams in the field though. The sunbelt is not the 3rd toughest, and they didn’t sweep through the 2 other good teams in their conference. I won’t make an argument that they aren’t a good team. Arkansas is the best team on paper, and it would appear with the eye test as well.

Then why didnt they hit well throughout the season?

No, they didnt. Unless you are going to argue that either the SEC, ACC, Big 10, or Big 12 wasnt better than the sunbelt. And arguably the American athletic.

We’ve also seen coastal at their worst losing to charleston and alabama, if we are going to cherry pick worsts

i feel odds are Coastal Carolina is due to have a bad game and lose one. now do the wheels fall off once they do face a little adversity? but im gonna say UCLA and Arizona.

UCLA is -395 against Murray State. They have legit MLB prospects on that team with Roch Cholowsky (one of the best players in America) and Roman Martin. Would much rather play Murray State in Game 2 in the Winners Bracket if I had the choice.

Murray State is a team than can wreck some pitching in the loser’s bracket. If Arky beats LSU, then I can see Murray going 0-2 because we have strong number 2 pitching. Otherwise, they could be trouble if they get past game two.

He’s not on Eyanson’s level. Arky pitching was not even close to Eyanson in the SEC. Root is 8-5. Wood is likely to start game 2 if I had to guess. Gaeckle and Beidelschie don’t come close to Eyanson. If it is someone better than or on the the level with Eyanson then I guess I do not know their no. 2 starter.

Arky was 11-9 away from home this year, too.
