I remember sitting by myself, watching Joey Galloway laugh and say we had no hope to beat Florida. We came out, played with heart and got the job done.

It's football, any given Saturday. Hope is only lost when you, yourself lose it and I'm not there.

Take ya'lls miserable mindset down the road.

We CAN rally. We WILL rally.

Some people are just so delusional right now that you're saying whatever pops in their heads now. Lol

If there is ONE thing you can give O credit for, it is that his teams have usually responded well after losses. The only time he's lost back to back games at LSU was last season when he lost to Alabama, a game in which LSU had no chance even if they had won the prior week.

2017: Loss to Troy. Apocalypse ensues. LSU then beats ranked Florida and Auburn the next two weeks

2018: Frustrating loss at Florida where the offense struggled. The next week LSU destroys #2 Georgia (UGA's only loss of the reg season)

2020: LSU gets hammered by Alabama. Key players "opt out". 3-7 seems imminent. LSU upsets 1 loss Florida and beats Ole Miss.

Is it frustrating that LSU/Orgeron seems to have to have their backs against the wall to play great football? Yes. And it may ultimately cost him his job. But lost in the anger of last Saturday is that LSU did not get blown out by Auburn. Yes, there were frustrating moments, particularly on offense, but it took Bo Nix escaping seemingly unescapable situations to give Auburn the win. UK, Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas, A&M are not clearly better than LSU. That's not to say LSU will defeat all of those teams (odds are they won't), but it's not completely far fetched that they could if they are willing to make some necessary changes to the approach.

I anticipate that we are going to see several close games (except vs. Alabama) down the stretch because the difference between LSU and the teams noted above is minimal. Neither is going to be able to completely pull away from the other.

We might get lucky and catch KY flat but I don’t think so. Mullen will out coach us big time like he has before. I mean he had us beat last year if not for the shoe incident.

Being realistic <> being miserable.

But you know what man, I do hope you’re right. In the same way that I hope $1MM falls into my bank account. Pretty sure it won’t happen and I’m good either way

Screw it, too much negativity on these threads so I'm switching it up.

We will beat Kentucky.
We will beat Florida.

OUR team will right the ship. 9-3 or 8-4 with a bowl game. I'm holding out hope.

If you really believe this there is a lot of money to be made.

Auburn and Nix gave the rest of our schedule a blue print Saturday night, specifically the 2nd half, on how to go about beating us on both sides of the ball. Several more losses coming swiftly. The only hope for not getting an L is the bye week before Bama.

Man, I really hope we are in a position to address this question in a couple weeks. I have my doubts, but beating Kentucky and Florida would be great.

Then we lose at Ole Miss and Saban beats us by 45 this year in T-Town

What if we beat Ole Miss and We take Saban well into the 4th quarter with a chance to win? Then what?
