20/22 starters back from a our team at the end of the year.

Young BDE in the building. Loaded classes coming in, just sprinkled it with PFF's top rated ACC LB from last year.

Our big opponents are starting out from scratch at QB.

Florida, Bama, A&M. We stacked at QB.

Honestly think losing their receivers will hurt bama more than losing their QB. I expect Bryce young to be every bit as good as mac jones--the difference is that he won't be throwing to guys who are 8 yards wide open on every play. Metchie is good but he's not nearly as dynamic as smith or waddle.

I honestly put LSU's roster up there with anyone's in the conference. Got a lot riding on our QB play and coordinators. LFG boys.

Brennan returns healthy.

Brand new slate of coaches.

Solid recruiting class (#3 in nation).

Returning 20 of 22 starters.

Similar home/away schedule as the 2019 natty year.

I think it’s time for another playoff run.

Big time starting LB transferred today from Clemson.

We have some momentum after the roller coaster year of opt outs, covid, draft loss, etc.

Let’s GEAUX get another natty!

This is the first year in recollection that Bama has a presumed starterthat is only second season and no starts. His backup will have zero starts or snaps...

I want to believe!!! But what I will say is they're overdue to hit a bump in the road at some point! It's just next man up for them year after year after year! They have a ton of very good players waiting their turn but they lost a ton from last years team!

Bama is Bama and they just reload. With that said, when Smith was not on the field for Bama, they were not nearly as potent. Losing a veteran superstar like him, an electric guy like Waddle, a complete RB like Harris and a veteran QB like Mac Jones all at once has an impact. It takes a minute to work up the chemistry they had, so they will need a little time for their new studs to find their footing.

News flash: since Saban, Bama never sucks. Are they beatable, probably, but it will always be an uphill climb.

QB - Jones - 42 total TDs
RB - Harris - 30 total TDs
TE - Forristall - 1 total TD
LT - Leatherwood
LG - Brown
C - Dickerson
WR - Smith - 25 total TDs
WR - Waddle - 4 total TDs

72 TDs out of 79 offensive TDs gone and 6000 out of 7041 total offense yards gone! That a huge chunk from the offense! Yes they can just reload but that won't be just an easy task!

The replacements in the booth and on the sidelines are as, if not more important than the players returning.

Last year painfully amplified and reminded us all in the importance of competent and innovative coaching staff.

I really like this roster from a depth, experience and talent standpoint. If the new staff can get them prepped and schemed properly this team has the potential to make some serious noise this season.
