Quitten brennan couldn’t hack it in the sec. No quality program wanted him. He wouldve been a liability, even he knows that.
Wonder why CBK couldn't figure that out. Are we not a "quality program?"

Brennan be injured in Mstate game

That’s the winner period. The job was promised to him and JD both. When he determined he was being played he called it quits. It’s was very poorly handled period, and he has been a true Tiger by keeping his mouth shut about the whole thing. If they didn’t want him as a player he should have been offered a GA job, since he has more experience in the SEC than all these coaches put together and whether you like him or not he can read defenses well and learned even more from the Jedi master, Burrow.
If you think JD is likely to survive this season without injury you are delusional.
And I will say no more on this matter

Poor Brenner the charity case, why wouldn’t mean ol’ Kelly give him a GA spot

Brennan would already have been injured by now. The difference is we would have won the opener against Florida State.

Maybe one day, in the fullness of time, Brennan will let us know the rest of the story.

The QB is the biggest problem!

Brennan would be playing somewhere now if he would of stayed in the portal. Lol. Gets told he is not the starting QB 1 week before the season starts and every team pretty much has their QB they have decided on. How and the he'll do you think that man is going to get to play like that. Very very disappointed in how that went down. Should have left him in the transfer portal and he would be playing somewhere now. Instead CK ruined the poor boys dream of playing.

Never understood the Daniels pickup

I’m sure Myles will show Kelly how wrong he was when he lights it up for the team he left LSU for….

Go watch Miles Brennan highlights moron. He threw receivers open and into tight windows. Something Daniel's cannot do. The play calling is not for this type of QB and that's the problem.

his body never fully recovered and he wasn’t going to make it in a full speed SEC game so he hung em up.

I’m not someone who touts “sources” so all I can offer is circumstantial. If you compare his movements this spring to 2020 you’ll see his gate is that of a 15 year NFL LB where they get stiff legged and have no flex in their lower half. There’s also the question of why quit football altogether instead of staying at SM or moving on to a smaller school. He gave it a go, the body didn’t respond so he quit football completely. This guy nearly split his core vs Missouri, that’s no small thing. I think this will end up coming out later on, if I’m wrong hold me to it.

I actually agree with OP.

Brennan was in the mix till the day he was told he would not start. He left. I would too.
I think it was the day of the team photo. I did not see him in it.

Y’all trying to kill Myles Brennan behind this OL. He retired to avoid this outcome.
EXACTLY!!! I’m not sure how many people that watched the games sober are posting the anti JD stuff. Granted, I’m not all in on JD as the answer, but until the line can better protect he’s the answer we need. People need to go and watch how many 1st downs we got because of JD’s mobility—either by him evading the rush or by him actually rushing for a 1st—NUSS or BRENNAN are not doing that consistently.

Will be interesting to see if they Saints give him a UFA look and kick the tires on him for the practice squad.
He probably has some ties to the Saints organization and considering the number of Saints fans who are now Bengals fans because of Burrow they may want to give the home town kid a look.
There was a reason they suddenly brought in Jarvis and Mathieu after staying away from LSU players for a long time. They lost a lot of fans to the Bengals.
