Neither team we face tomorrow is going to have much pitching left. Tigers win big.

He had lost his power, he’s not hitting and he can’t throw so they try and hide him. You have to wonder why he is playing.

They must think he’s needed.

Same here. Doesn't seem like there's an obvious answer. Nippolt? Merrifield? Guidry?

Middle IF depth will need to be a huge point of emphasis in the offseason. It's been really bad for 2 years now. I would've sat Dugas after the injury to let him heal and get Nippolt the reps but at this point I think you just have to keep putting Dugas out there and hope it gets better. Too late to change now

Exactly. Tommy just needs to let the game come to him instead of trying to be the hero! Pass the bat and take the walk! And imo I'd protect him with travenski!

Of all the people raking right now, you want to put Jobert in the 4 hole? Yikes

Move Morgan from 3 to 6 and everyone else up.

Y’all gonna call me crazy but as of right now I’d roll with

Jobert
Crews
White
Travinski
Beloso

At the top of the order. The only glaring weakness we’ve had offensively IMO has been the lack of a pure lead off hitter… yes Crews is exactly who he is, but putting him in the lead off spot takes a huge bat out the middle of the lineup..

Not sure who else you trot up there to lead off at this point

Terrible idea

Jobert is who he is. Big bat that strikes out a lot. Not speedy, not a great eye

Crews is your leadoff hitter. Put Tre 2nd, white 3rd, trav 4, beloso 5th, Jones 6th, jobert 7th, Thompson then Pearson.

I want Bear back in there. Full power lineup

I agree

But I also don’t like having crews at the lead off spot so we’re back to my original pernt

We don’t have a pure lead off hitter

I’d almost rather Morgan lead off despite his struggles right now

Who you putting at 2nd? Nippolt is better defensively but he gives you nothing on offense. At least Dugas gets on base.

At this point you’re just hoping Dugas finds it again. I think you need him if you’re going to make a run, so you have to leave him in and hope he gets hot.

I’d go:

Pearson- LF (assuming RHP)
Crews- CF
Tanks- 3B
Travinski- C
Beloso- DH
Jobert- RF
Thompson- SS
Morgan- 1B
Dugas- 2B.

But my opinion doesn’t mean Jack shite.

This. Put Pearson at leadoff. Travinski 4, Beloso 5, Morgan 6, Thompson 7, Dugas 8, Jobert in the 9 hole.

Only if we don't press at the plate. Hey to Tanks.

Ride with Dugas. Today is a great day for a guy in a slump. It’d be stupid to take him out now. Oregon St. pitching should be depleted and we’ll be facing some guys that we can feast on. I’d put a wager Dugas breaks out of the slump today.
