classic tRant post.
saying you're not on the same talent level as the extreme upper echelon of FBS (yet) is somehow equated to having among the worst rosters at the Power 5 level.
no in-between whatsoever.

"We don't have the talent of elite teams like UGA, OSU, Oregon, Texas"
You, a retarded person "OMG y'all think we have the same talent as 4-4 Baylor"

That's exactly it. On offense we are talented as anyone in the country. On defense we have talent, but they are all true freshman and sophomores.
A 4th or 5th year senior 3 or 4 star is usually much better than a 18 or 19 year old 5 star / top 100 player. He have plenty of those top 100 and 5 star guys on defense, but they are still too young.

The team under Kelly has repeatedly been unprepared at kick off. That is a pattern. The latest was no accounting for Aggies backup QB. How is this possible?

I think the stat that Ive heard is historically only 15% of SEC teams have won back to back road games. Partner that with going into an environment like Kyle field, our team being beat up and not at 100% (Especially not having CJ Daniels and Garrett Dellinger out there for a good portion of the game), horrendous kicking, questionable play calling on offense from an inexperienced coordinator, a first year starting QB who has been good in clutch situations but has been inconsistent with decision making, the offense not executing and capitalizing on the opportunities the defense gives them, and the defensive coaches getting the absolute most out of the talent we have on defense. Its been a wonder that the defense has been able to keep them in the games this far into the season. I could tell after the second interception that Nuss was flustered and the crowd noise was getting to him, the moment got too big for him and he started to play scared.
I agree, but what makes you think it's going to get any better? It's looking like we're losing both Dellinger and Daniels for the remainder of the season. I don't recall us being this beat up in a long time. I agree that Blake Baker is doing all he can with the defense, but Sloan's play calling does the offense no favors.

Lol OP answers his own question and then many blame the players. Lolol
It’s not like we have years of history of BKs teams doing this.
Get used to it and get ready to keep blaming players for piss poor game planning and failures to adjust.

Kelly seems to be surprised by things that happen.

BK screwed himself year 1 when he took 35 scholarship players to an SEC championship game and beat Alabama. It fast forwarded everyone's expectations.
Here's the facts,
1. This roster is a 9-3 (maybe 8-4) roster talent wise.
2. The guys he's had an opportunity to recruit are only sophomores some RS freshmen minus transfers.
3. I know this is a tired argument, but that doesn't make it any less true. It takes more than 3 years to recover from what was left behind by O. Recruits need to become juniors/seniors in order to truly see what BK's potential is. You can harp on transfer portal all you want (and I do believe you use it sparingly to fill immediate needs NOT entire teams) but rebuilding starts with high school recruits.
If our staff stays intact, we will develop these guys into a great unit.
My only gripe with BK so far is the loss to USC (who is a bad team), and our inability to scheme running plays. Aside from that he's done everything necessary to rebuild and develop us into a great program. Just takes time.

We were dominating ATM in the first half on the road. They were prepared. Nuss lost his mind. Did you see how visibly upset he was on that last pick? How is that any coaches fault? The kid thinks he can make any play happen and he’s over confident. Him being a coaches son is a detriment to him.

Y’all act like Saban never lost a game at LSU.
Fact is, the SEC is hard. The SEC on the road is even harder.
Calm down.
LSU is not going to be undefeated every year.
Let Kelly cook.

I knowmiur defense couldn’t stop A&M, but I like their chances of getting a couple stops a lot better if we don’t keep giving them the short field
