A grown-arse woman that Miles threatened to punch in the face, dipshit

Listen genius, she alleged that Miles said that if she was a coach and didn't do what he had said, he'd have punched her in her mf'ing face if she didn't do what he wanted. If he said that, then he is an absolute a-hole, but it wasn't a direct threat to punch her in the face. It was threatening and hostile to even talk like that if he did though. Miles is a fraud, so it wouldn't surprise me.

But also, she allegedly responded by saying ‘I guess that you will just have to punch me in my mother f------ face.’ That doesn't sound like a scared response and it definitely doesn't sound like someone who would hide under her desk in fear of him if he was coming down the hallway as she said she did.

Dude. Mary Olive Pierson is coming for everyone. Mary is a pitbull and will supoena everyone from Gov Jindal down. You're damned right, she's going to name names, sue, etc. all those that made her keep silent to protect her job. Verge better be looking for work elsewhere.

Sorry. Of all the wrong doings that have been committed, having an attractive front line is an effing requirement. You know it. I know it. They know it.

If there is a culture problem within the AD/Program/University, no one that's been there over 20 years is above reproach.
While this is true, it is probably not easy for a black female middle manager in a large college athletic department in the Deep South to challenge institutional culture.

And now now that she’s suing the university for $50 million, you still think people shitting on her is ridiculous?

This is utter nonsense. There is no one more protected than a black, female employee. My wife worked for 20 years as a corporate attorney, handled some HR along the way, but mostly contracts and M&A. She would come home sometimes frustrated that a exec/manager fired someone in that protected class without having properly documented issues. She knew the lawsuit was coming.

Why should she have to quit when she had a perfectly good job and had done nothing wrong? This is the problem that women have faced for years. If they don’t go along with the what the male-dominated culture wants, even if it is illegal, they are punished.

She said she was verbally abused, tormented and undermined for years, had a mental breakdown, had her hair fall out, hid under her desk when Les Miles came toward her office and has ongoing mental trauma. Yeah, sounds like a great job.

Everyone around her may be completely pathetic assholes who need to be fired, but I would feel equally bad if I was employed and kept making money at a place that I thought was horrible and was allowing horrible stuff to happen to others while my objections/complaints were ignored. I can't imagine either not raising hell until the problems were legitimately addressed or I was fired considering the terrible treatment I was getting along with many other people who were even more helpless. And if fired, she could have sued them for retaliation for whistleblowing).

I'd be fine with several losing years if we could clean house. Get rid of basically everyone. Otherwise do some serious backgrounding on anyone that wants to stay including hiring private investigators and polygraphs. In the long run, having a program that we can be proud of would be worth it. And, you can run a clean program and win. Under this new culture, have coaches communicate to the high school coaches that a player being a "character guy" is the expectation and not something to be considered noteworthy. No more high school coaches covering for their players and expecting to roll into LSU. Setting the proper tone from the top will set the right expectations down to high schools and middle schools. Let the kids know that before LSU awards them a scholarship, they will be interviewed, teachers interviewed, references checked, social media checked, etc. If they are a scumbag, they can go play for ULL. Giving a bad guy a scholarship is a reputational risk to LSU and also financial risk - it's just not worth it (as current events prove). Put into coaches contracts, interfering with police, pushing influence to cover for their players' bad behavior and criminal acts will no longer be tolerated and will result in firing with no buy out. Obviously, none of this will actually happen. Too many people (some even post on TD) prioritize winning (and vicarious pleasure of a team they aren't a member of) over honor.

The only thing back about this is that the word leaked out about it. You are an idiot if you think coaches don’t staff their recruiting reps with nice pieces of tail.

How about quit her job?

If one is morally objected to the business practices of their employer and no change has come about in the raising of your concerns, then you LEAVE the organization you're with.

That is what else she could've done.

And, apparently, she has no issues with the media now that she can ride the wave of shite currently crashing along LSU's shores.

The 2 men that are supposed to handle sexual harassment charges were suspended for one month. They need to be fired and coach O needs to be told he has one last chance to handle sexual harassment cases properly.

To be fair to Les, he had back to back top 5 classes after these comments, so most fans had no issue with the results of hiring blondes instead of girls that don't shave their armpits.
