Absolutely. Remember the best time to drop a game is early non-conference top 10 REALLY GOOD team……..

Are you saying that CBK prefer incompetence at QB

I'll use your snarky question as a foil to underscore my point: CBK will tolerate JD's "incompetence" (your word) because JD fits the kind of game CBK prefers and is most familiar with at QB.

So much so that if Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels were engaged in a QB competition, Jayden wins in CBK's world because he ostensibly would better compensate for a suspect OL by his speed.

Had CBK been our HC in '19 with the same talent, you would've never seen the offense we saw. Not how CBK rolls.

With Perkins being moved back where he belongs
Smith getting healthy I have faith that house and the defense will respond very quickly to this early loss

This is frightening to imagine.

Well Barry Switzer encouraged Troy Aikman to transfer out after '85 and rolled with Jamelle Holieway (and a 45% career completion pct).

That was stupid on Barry's part and may very well have cost him two natties but he had 3 to his credit at the time.

Really good coaches do some of the stupidest things.

False.

If Nuss was substantially better he would be the starter. FACT

Sorry you don’t like this but facts don’t care about your feelings.

Where is this “evidence” that Nuss would make this team better. You have none. You are just speculating. As usual.

What about that game the other night makes you think this is possible?

They don’t care about reality. They have just convinced themselves everything bad about LSU football is all JDs fault for “reasons” (even though the entire team looked and played like complete shite in the 2nd half of the FSU game).

They just can’t accept the fact that not only is JD not a great QB (though he’s not the only problem with this team by a long shot) Nuss isn’t significantly better (doesn’t actually give us a better chance of winning more games) because if he was, he would absolutely be playing. They imagine this world where BK would frick up his chances to do what he came to LSU to do (win a championship) because he’s just “to blind to see how Nuss is so obviously Joe burrow 2.0”. Let them have their fantasy world and BK can play whichever QB he wants. It will make zero difference to our wins/loses this year. This team ain’t going to the playoffs unless a lot more than the QB gets better.

Nuss doesn’t play defense so I doubt we’d be going all the way regardless of how good he is.

Providing "Big Game Shame CBK" is as ignorant as what you're proposing here LSU needs to find the by out $$$ yesterday.

Nah one change won’t cut it. I agree Nuss needs to be starting at QB but changes need to be made on defense too. On offense I would start Nuss and have situation packages for JD to utilize his legs.

Good coaches maximize the talent on the field. Changes need to be made game to game, quarter to quarter and play to play to maximize talent versus the opponent. Kelly seems to be lacking in that area right now.

Nuss needs to take over NOW

I am using BK's words against him here. He says we are a year away but I can tell you Nuss is not going to come in next year and take us to the promised land if he does not play this year. JD is a 5th yr sr so saying we are a year away (if true) is wasting next year if we dont get the QB ready for next season.

I am curious to see how many JD promoters on here magically convert to Nuss next season when he is "The Guy" and all their concerns over Ints goes away after doing much of nothing this season.

Go away…

This board has been obsessed with 2nd string QB since I joined in 2007.

It was one game the whole team got their asses kicked by Fla St

There will be some growing pains “interceptions” and a few bad decisions but with our defense playing like they can it will carry Nuss until he hits stride against bama and then gives us a chance against UGA
