Can’t win the west. Well, unless everyone else loses several games. So he has to motivate the team to play for pride, love of LSU and self-improvement. Can he do that?

I don't think we will win the west, but we are nearly in control of our destiny.
OM needs 1 more loss if we win out(even if not, we could have 3 way tie that anyone could win).
And they play aTm and UGA back to back next month. I doubt they win out.

we saw how well he has motivated the team so far. No improvement after blowout loss to FSU, no change after defense sucked against Arkansas. What makes you think anything will change now with lower stakes?

He is 62 years old, over 30 years coaching, and a contact balance of over $70 million. He can be like Orgeron. Just fire me and give me my money. What real incentives does he have to improve?

Not too good with numbers eh? Same as last year basically. Win out and Ole miss needs to lose 1 more. UGA, atm and Auburn. They will lose 2 of those

LSU still has Missouri, Alabama,Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M. Going to be a rough couple months.

We have 2 or 3 more losses, almost assured with this defense. People going to be big mad at Kelly before the season is over. Alabama offense can’t wait to play our defense. We’ll make that qb look like a Heisman contender.

Kelly is definitely on the Hot Seat and he knows it by now. He should consider these next couple of seasons at LSU as the biggest challenge of his coaching life.
He should know that his legacy and reputation for all time are going to be formed, starting now, as HC of LSU.
We will see whether he can meet the challenge. I don't know whether he can.
