Yea frick Brady

Seriously though, taking a school that gives so few shits as LSU does to a final 4 in men's basketball is simply an amazing accomplishment. It's sad people don't realize that.

I'm glad we got CJJ too but I'd take Brady back all day before I took Trent back.

Okay, this I'll agree with. At least Brady got us out of the basement on occasion.

Still prefer CJJ to him

booze has that effect. Maybe he's calmed on that front since marrying that dime piece though.

So Brady has one magical run and underachieved every other year, but we're supposed to think he is awesome?

no one is saying he's awesome... but he's not nearly as bad of a coach as many made him out to be. very inconsistent though

I'd rather Brady's assistants that got him the team in.

I still hate his guts, he just came off as a smug dick in his time here.

He was never that bad when I was around him. One time at his radio show he paid for everyone's meal (back when they still did the shows at Superior). Now you wanna talk about smug douchebags... Smoke Laval.

Okay.. SEC placement..

LSU still went to a postseason tournament 5 seasons in a row under Brady.

2002 NIT
2003 NCAA
2004 NIT
2005 NCAA
2006 NCAA

LSU under Brady was pretty damn consistent considering we had sucked since 1994.

my freshman year at LSU. 17-4 (7-3) and then Lloreda quit or whatever and we just crashed and burned.

I'm not saying he was the worst coach ever (that honor definitely goes to Trent Johnson). But people who say he wasn't mediocre because of the one final four run are full of it.
