Bo Ryan and John Beilein are probably the two best active that come to mind.

No doubt there are some, but his statement came off as he had a list of a ton of non final 4 coaches.

Ill be the first to admit Brady had some down years but that 1 season, for me, helps me forget about all the crap. Do y'all realize how many great coaches there are who have never and will never make a final 4? I'm 100% sure jonny jones will never be a final 4 coach.
LSU is above 1 flash in the pan year due to a great influx of in-state talent that the HC's assets/friends helped get him. We all saw what happened in Brady's last couple years. His asst/friends couldn't get him a handful of talented LA kids and then with a GOOD team he tanked and got fired with no good future in recruiting. Trent freasking Johnson took that same team just about the next season and won the SEC. That was a really good team Brady had in 2007-2008 and he blew it, then blew it even further because his 2008 recruiting class was Graham, Harris and Warren. We saw what was happening and quickly made the right move.
And your last statement is really ignorant. Why dont you just go ahead and tell me the winning lotto numbers Ms. Cleo.

To those of y'all giving all the final 4 credit to butch Pierre and collis temple for recruiting, why couldn't dale brown get out of the 2nd round with Shaq and stanly Roberts ?
It absolutely goes credit to those guys who gave Brady that kind of talent on a silver platter. PLENTY of coaches could have gotten that team to a final four. Also, it's dumb to nitpick 1 year here and there. Dale Brown CONSISTENTLY got to the NCAA Tournament and got to TWO Final fours. The comparison is completely irrational between him and Brady.
If Brady was even a decent coach he wouldn't STILL be coaching at a freaking Sun Belt team 5 years after being shite canned here. Seriously, that's all the evidence you need. 5 years at Arkansas freaking State and I can guarantee you no bigger program has come calling him.

I will come up with more, just gotta look em up, my point was that making a final 4 is a very tough thing to do.
Just looking at the 14 SEC teams only 5 have ever been and 2 of those have only been once (miss st and Uga)

Any coach can get to the final 4 once if he has the right group of players.

This.
I'm pretty sure Big Baby, Tyrus Thomas, Darrell Mitchell, Garrett Temple, Taz Mitchell and Co. counts as the right group

Majority of coaches that are considered great have that connotation because they got to a final 4 or won a NC. So listing a bunch who are truly great will be very hard.

Imagine if we had still had Brandon Bass

Exactly, George Mason has done it, granted that coach has turned out to be more than a flash in the pan. Still, doing that at George Mason shows you get a good enough group of guys and get hot enough, you can go deep. How many of those George Mason F4 players are even in the NBA?
Nobody looks back on Brady's final four and thinks "man that makes him an elite coach!"

Hell imagine if Brady didn't go out and get wasted in Indy (allegedly)... That was a championship caliber team that was pissed away at the last minute

Those are GREAT coaches, WTF. You must have some low standards.

Florida would have kicked our arse for the third time that season anyways.
