Those are GREAT coaches, WTF. You must have some low standards.

well 1/3 of his list has indeed been to the Final 4. And Chris Mack and Scott Drew are great coaches? Painter? Besides, they're all very young.

Hell imagine if Brady didn't go out and get wasted in Indy (allegedly)... That was a championship caliber team that was pissed away at the last minute

Imagine if Brady didn't draw up that great play out of the timeout to have Darrell Mitchell shoot the game winning three against A&M 6 feet behind the arc after dribbling around for a bit.

I'm glad we got CJJ too but I'd take Brady back all day before I took Trent back.

I can't agree with this enough

You mean when you mention the greatest active CBB coaches your list doesn't go

Coach K
Boeheim
Mack
Drew
Roy Williams
etc?

Is there 1 coach on there that you wouldn't take over JJ? These guys have all won consistently at high levels of college basketball. JJ has not

Why is he even still trying? Now just listing any coach who has or is having some success recently.

I'm making fun of you because you don't know what the frick you're talking about. Tom Crean and Thompson have both been to the Final 4.

The only great coach you listed was Crean. The rest are good or decent.

We dont know what JJ is capable of yet with a good team. Neither do you. So why do you think he never has a chance to make a final four? Do you not pay attention to recruiting because he isn't dropping the ball exactly there to get a talented enough team.

Mike Anderson is a great coach, please stop. Your list includes two who HAVE been to the final 4. You are embarrassing yourself.

Tom Crean and Thompson. 1/3 came from when you only had 6 coaches listed. You're embarrassing yourself man. Stick to duck hunting, LSU football, and eating boiled crawfish.

The edit has finally happened. But good to know Mike Anderson is still a great coach.

MAYBE Williams can be considered a great coach. Chris Mack is 43, Drew is 42, Haith is 47... still a lot of time for these guys.

And I'm sorry but 6 out of these 7 guys just aren't great coaches.

Whats that gave to do with anything? The point was those guys haven't been to the Final 4 yet but they have plenty of time in their careers. Hell, Johnny does too. Johnny's in his first year at a major program. Time will tell. But he has a recruiting class ranked only behind Kentucky and Indiana according to 24/7 and did fairly well with an outmanned team this season. So to say you 100% know he will never make one is asinine.

You seem really ignorant to the game of basketball. And that's ok. If you stick around here long enough you'll learn a little bit

All of this. He's recruited well and probably exceeded expectations as far as his coaching abilities. Will he make a Final Four? Who knows. But to say for sure he won't is ridiculous at this point.
