Yes. That 85 td run set it off. He had a huge game.

Fla backs against the wall. That USF loss hurt. after us they have @miami, texas, @aTm, moo st, georgia. Ouch!

On the road at Mississippi State is his first game after the VR from what I recall.

Nuss aint Jaden Daniels. Let's see how many wide open running lanes Nuss doesn't take on 3rd and 7 to stop drives this weekend. If he corrects that I expect us to win. Good thing our defense is salty. However I have a feeling BK and Sloan saved a lot of plays against Tech for this weekend. Nuss needs to learn if he is CAPABLE better pocket awareness and to run for first downs when lanes are open.

He had a huge game vs Florida, but he had shined already in previous games that season (Missouri esp.) and later vs Aggies.

It was a big game for him but I wouldn’t call it Daniel’s first big game. He played good all season, he didn’t just put it together end of the season

It was in November, so no, but it was for sure his Heisman winning performance.

Edit: Realizing now that you meant 2022 Florida. Yes, that was the game Jayden started letting that bitch fly.

2022 Florida was indeed Jayden’s first big game. He had everything going that game and was on point with his passing. Showed his speed beating defenders to the outside with ease, etc. It was a glimpse into 2023 because he put that type of performance into a full season minus the FSU second half, which is insane.

Lol no. That Florida game was on November 11th. The 3rd to last game of the season… unless you are talking about 2022

He played 2 more games in an LSU uniform after that night.

No that was not when he started to put it all together and had his first huge game. Come on man.

To everyone saying no and ridiculing the op; he is talking about 2022 Florida. 349 passing and 3 TDs with another 3 tds on the ground. Yeah it was most certainly his best game to date in an LSU uniform

He also needs to learn how to throw a deep ball.

I agree he hit several long passes where he dropped the ball in the bucket. Still a lot of fans dismissed it at that time as State being bad - not seeing forest for the trees. Some of the doubters didn't come around Florida, it was painfully obvious by then, but still some held out even then, mind-boggling.

After the loss to FSU it looked like it “clicked” against Grambling the next game. I know it was only Grambling but it clicked for JD in terms of trusting his WRs. Remember when everyone used to scream at the TV, “throw the ball”. That stopped after the Grambling game and JD went on a massive run to capture the Heisman.

It was definitely the game that put him in position to win the Heisman. Happy I flew it for that one.

Yeah Jayden went off at Florida in 2022.

Threw for 350/3 TDs & also ran for 3 TDs.

He also went off vs Florida in 2023 to lock up the Heisman. Napier has nightmares of JD5

Unfortunately Nuss didn’t do that well in the swamp last year, but expecting much better this weekend

Not his first big game, but his best game with multiple Heisman moments. He had 3 4-TD SEC games and 1 5-TD SEC game prior (UF was a 5-TD game), and 6 SEC games with 350 or more total yards (he had over 600 total yards in UF).

I wouldn't mind this being a 500-yard passing game for Nuss and maybe two 100-yard rushers.

One of those seems far less likely than the other.
