Good leader would simply omit this. Way too much - freaking move on...

Totally unnecessary shot by Alleva, trying to save face. You should regret suspending him in the first place.

It was important for consistency. Joe continued his streak of fricking something up on every thing he touches.

its an explanation of how they ended up at this standoff. Wade acknowledged it as well in his statement too

plus I think wade was getting paid during the suspension. I am surprised no one has directly asked this question but I never saw the suspension described as "unpaid leave"

Oh look it’s another loser who claimed for almost two months that Wade would be fired and never coach at LSU again. Lmao pathetic little attention whores like you refuse to go away and refuse to eat crow, you’re the lowest among us.

Nope. Alleva's incompetent leadership and bonehead statements are to be expected. Coach Wade will have the last laugh when Alleva is ousted.

Alleva’s statement a bitch move. Anyone who supports that type of weakness from the AD is also showing they are a weak minded bitch.

The way it was worded doesn't make a lot of sense.

I mean, look at it;
quote:

The University regrets that Coach Wade did not choose to fulfill his obligations to LSU when he was first asked to do so
that's a negative statment.
quote:

However,
that indicates a change in tone
quote:

the seriousness of the allegations and Coach Wade’s prior refusal to refute them could not be ignored without exposing the University and the basketball program to great risk
and instead we get another negative statement.

If you leave the However out, it's coherent, and pretty strong.
But when you put the However in, it just sounds like they're piling on.

It's like saying "LSU lost to Alabama for the 8th time in a row. However, they couldn't score a point". you don't need to transition from bad to bad, you use that term when you're going good to bad or bad to good.

The negative parts should've been left out. Period. Everyone already knew LSU's "reasoning" for suspending him. No need to dwell on the past. It's in the rearview mirror. The entire statement should have been positive about moving forward.

I never claimed he would be fired. I said all along that WW was to blame for us being in this mess as anyone. And most everyone cries when I say that and throws insults bc people can’t handle someone else’s opinion.

Y’all just whine too much. Everything is someone else’s fault and cry about things not being fair and everyone is doing cheating.

Meanwhile these are the same people complaining America has gone to shite bc everyone whine and complains. and screams life it’s fair.

It’s really a pathetic look for the fan base.

Considering the Alleva statement, the irony is thick in your post. So returning to the OP question, was the shot by Alleva in the press release really necessary?

Other than a hamhanded attempt to cover FKing-Alleva incompetency, what purpose did it serve?

He's just so freaking bad at his job on so many levels.

And, somewhere in his empty noggin he's probably thinking how intellectually superior he is to us swamp people. Can't wait until he is gone.

Wrong. Keeping your mouth shut is NEVER bad advice.

No, it was not. Joe Alleva and F. King are egomaniacal children that only care about themselves and would throw any player or coach under the bus, as well as the university if it meant saving themselves.

“ save face”

I think Joe was shocked by the fan reaction to him at the Vandy game. He’s made a number of uncalled for comments since that time in an effort to plead his case.

A grown man in a responsible position continually crying out, he made me do it, is not a good look.

That’s simply not true, you’ve said Wade would be fired multiple times and was pleased about it. And wanting the truth to dictate our future instead of rumors from dishonest shills like yourself isn’t whining you moron. People like you couldn’t wait to tear this guy down because he was successful. You people are the worst examples of human behavior.
