Brad Wilkerson (Florida) hit a Foul Ball that was an absolute 747

Brad hawpe one bounce off the athletic building
I was there. That was the longest one I saw in person. Hawpe had such a sweet swing.

Earthquake, Belle hit a HR over the centerfield fence and cleared the RF fence & hit that pink house! Saw it with my own eyes. My dad told Lantrip they should walk him every time he came up to the plate. Lantrip asked about a bases loaded scenario…my dad said…’then you sure as hell better walk him.’

Coach Ken Lantrip. He was one of my favorite coaches. Great personality, funny, hard working. I was at that game. Joey Belle hit the longest home run I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to no telling how many NCAA and MLB games. That guy was unreal.

I hit a 535 ft HR there in 2008. Went completely over the scoreboard in left field.

I remember one of the Boone brothers from USC hitting an absolute tank in the old box in a regional probably 90-92ish...
That one Jones hit Friday night in the dead air was unreal. Imagine how far that ball goes on 95 degree day with some wind blowing
For shear distance, the nuke shot Larson hit in Omaha to beat Rice has to up there and I saw Eddie Furniss hit one out at Ole Miss that looked like it landed on the tennis courts that were way out behind RF line back then.

That was INCREDIBLE! He connected with an off-speed fastball right down the middle of the plate

Either Will Clark or Rafael Palmero hit one straight away CF that landed on Nicholson Dr. Ball was still on incline when crossed CF fence.
I was there the day Will Clark hit that infamous bomb, I always remembered it going out left center towards the old dorms behind the old box. shite that was 20+ years ago so my memory could be skewed.

the longest one i saw in person was Jim Bowie. It went over the lights in right center and I think hit the farthest lane on nicholson. At least that is the way I remember it.

Deichman’s homer run may be the longest at the new Box but maybe not the longest in program history.

Think that was Zunnino.
It was and it's the longest HR I've ever seen in person. We were by their bullpen and everyone kept complaining about the crappy bats. Then he hit that bomb and I looked at my friend and said, "Yeah, there ain't nothing wrong with his bat".

Hate to tell you brother but Will Clark played at State mid 80's so that was 40 years ago

Surprised it’s not during the gorilla ball years with a juiced, bats, but maybe the ball was different then
I know this wasn't at the Box but I would love to know how far Moutons went in Omaha against UF (I think) that went out between CF and LCF...it was crushed.

Greg Deichmann hit one 486ft over the intimidator
This one immediately came to mind when I read the OP… I did not remember the distance though.
I think there are some unmeasured ones from the old Box that rank up there in Tiger lore.

Watching Mouton in the postseason was a thing of beauty. Those 90s bats with his power was ridiculous. He had to have the quickest time from hitting the ball and dropping the bat.
