I thought that was Jose Cruz Jr for Rice that hit that one.

Either Will Clark or Rafael Palmero hit one straight away CF that landed on Nicholson Dr. Ball was still on incline when crossed CF fence.

Not at the box, but thought I would share. Lyle Mouton hit one over the batter’s eye at the Old Rosenblatt against UF in 1991. At that time, the CF fence was 420’. I had heard that Mouton broke a window in the marriage dorms at the old box which would have been in the 480’ range. Didn’t see that one though.

I saw the posts about Diechman's 480+ ball. But I did wonder about Jones and the last few years. I did a little digging and it appears that Jones has hit a few farther. The longest was 467. No one in the timeframe I looked at hit one over 450 except Jones, though Joubert hit one 449 feet. I looked here https://x.com/LSUBaseballData

I'm glad you asked. This was a pretty cool rabbit hole to go down.

That was Joey Belle, not Faulkner.

Think that was Zunnino.

Bruce Sprowl, a knoxville native, in gm1 vs Tenn in the 2003 weekend series. ball. The ball was on its way up still as it ripped through the Intimidator. No telling how far it would have flown

Found video of the Mouton ‘91 CWS HR. You see the ball strike a shed behind 420’ CF wall. 10:20 mark.

I was at that game sitting in rhe LF bleachers at old Rosenblatt.

I had a great view after it cleared CF. Hit a TV tower about 50 feet behind the fence halfway up.

Adrian Antonini launched one that I swear was still climbing when it went over the left field bleachers at the old Box.

There was a dude from Arkansas that hit one over the scoreboard with the dead bats. Can't remember his name but I think his last name started with an E.

Two different parks. Longest home runs should be split between the two stadiums

Lance Berkman hit a bomb for rice that I believe cleared two of the married couples dorms

That’s is not true. No way that could have ever happened. First off there was only one building and then a big quad area with a basketball court . Secondly, I saw only one ball hop to that dorm

Jim Bowie had one roll to the Bernie Moore against the stadium parking lot. I’ve seen several hit on Nicholson but none like he hit that day

Deichmann ball was 108 off the bat which is why I don’t think it was 486
