Maybe he didn't have a good enough grasp on the playbook? Maybe he had better players in front of him. Maybe he jut didn't flourish and come into himself until his senior season.

Get it right you nitwits!
1. Kwon was strong side LB. Not in front of Debo.
2. Kwon is the one that should have been playing MLB over Welter. Tho Beckwith likely still would've been better as a freshman.
3. If you watched Debo play on special teams as a freshman, you saw he had all the tools. The dumbass in the box coupled with the dumbass on the field with the headset kept him on the bench for 3 years.

It's fun to see now how EVERYTHING that has happened the past couple years was Miles fault. It's such a nice and convent excuse for everyone. Every bad call, play, day, week, weather, etc is all because miles.
Cmon people get a grip. Safe to say Miles wasn't forcing his DCs to not play debo, there is no evidence or logic that supports this notion.
And I'm not saying this to defend Miles, I say this because if you bury all your skeletons with Miles, it blinds you. You think every problem was solved with Miles being gone, simply because your torqued the problems to fit Miles as the culprit. It absolves guilt from a lot of people who actually deserve a big chunk of that guilt.

Also didn't they say he went to Clemson at some point.
That announcer was just a dipshit. Said Clemson, meant LSU/Baton Rouge.

he played behind kwon alexander, an all-sec player and 4th round pick..no room for him in a 4-3...kendall beckwith played behind dj welter until they said enough was enough...deion jones was a great special teams player too..he say the field but not on defense

Kwon didn't play early either though.

Yes, you know, one of those Tigers!

Poor Gray, still fighting tooth and nail for Miles every chance you get.

Coach O's interviews have proved the head coach says who starts and who doesn't. Do ppl honestly believe Chavis wanted welter starting at MLB Chavis is known for lbs. if you believe what ppl say about it wasn't miles fault for this or that miles wouldn't have had one single responsibility. Head coaches especially head strong ones like les influence everything they can.

How many out of bounds hits did he have?
Posted on 10/31/16 at 8:46 am to madddoggydawg
Hey nitwit, in 2013 Kwon started most of the games at Sam and Lamin Barrow started every game at Will. In 2014, Kwon was starter at Will with Debo backing him up. In 2015, Debo was starter at Will.

yes he did.
Kwon took the starting Sam job in the 5th game of his true freshman season (Towson), started again vs UF the next week, but broke his ankle and missed the rest of the year. started his next 2 years before turning pro

He fell in the same category of many of our other good linebackers in the past decade, speedy and athletic, but way too light when they first get here. We have seen a number of these guys excel for their first few years on special teams, but until they get their weight up, which has usually been at least till their third year, they don't get much playing time. It's not like they are coming out of nowhere, you just can't have 215 pound linebackers and they can't put on weight overnight.

He had trouble gaining weight for most of his time at LSU. He was still pretty light for a LB even going into last season.

Just like so many players before him on miles coached teams, I have to believe miles did them favors by not playing them, saving their legs, etc for the NFL...
What else could it be? How many 2nd or 3rd stringers have made it to the NFL, and a lot of starters never played the 1st down in it?

Makes you wonder about so many things that should've happened but you told yourself that Miles knows best.
This is what I never understood. Miles never ever got credit for the defense. After 10, people were saying chavis is the only reason Miles has a job still.
Yet we blame Miles for the personnel decisions? So he's either responsible for some of the best defenses and offenses LSU has ever produced, or he isn't. Which one is it?

They played different positions at LSU.

Kids HS scouting tape is ridiculous. Flows to the ball like a pro LB. Gets to LSU and poof.. he gone.

After Auburn in 14, Miles called out the defense for the first time ever. After that game, Jamal Adams and Kendell beckwith started. The defense never looked back and was much better.
