Just hard to believe a second round draft pick isn't good enough to start until his senior year.

Ask Chavis.
D.J. Welter was just better...

Makes you wonder about so many things that should've happened but you told yourself that Miles knows best.

Some coaches like hand-picking their players rather than choosing the best players on the team. They become fixated on certain aspects such as the belief that Welter was better in coverage and therefore, he was much more valuable than Jones who provided speed and better tackling ability in his defense.

Pretty sure welter was swapped out for beckwith not jones. But yes, he had a great senior season. He should have started as a junior.

I still can't believe he didn't start sooner. He was a late bloomer but his junior year he should have seen the field. When he did get in he made plays so idk what miles and chavis were thinking

You video gamers are amazing. Why can't it be that his ceiling is very high and just began to develope into the player that he is later in college?? You guys are amazing. You guys act like he graduated from Jesuit and walked straight on to an NFL roster. How about the possibility that he was well prepared for where he is. ????????

He's always been gamer. Steele and Chief weren't smart enough. Deion was a Cornhusker commit out of New Orleans Jesuit and LSU flipped him.

Lamar Louis wasn't a bad player and Deion needed to gain weight.

Deion is a grand example of someone who worked for it all.

Debo in Arandas scheme. Wow. It would've been incredible. Aranda has turned Riley into a force.
