If Nuss does end up leaving, and I think he does, Underwood would be a Day 1 starter. He is coming in January for a reason. You would either start a redshirt sophomore in Rickie Collins, a backup in AJ Swann, or a redshirt freshman in Hurley. Swann is the only one with experience and it is obvious he is the third string here. Unless Rickie is just that much better than Underwood, it does not make sense to start Rickie. Anytime Rickie makes a mistake, the fan base will call for his head. Bryce is walking onto campus as the starter.

re: Les and O need a statue

Not every person to come through LSU needs a statue. Reward the legendary players (Burrow/Daniels). Coaches do not need statues besides a legend like Skip. Les is not a legend and neither is O. They won 1 title each. Saban deserves a statue over either of those two.

BOOT UP
we were projected to lose this game so why are you blaming johnny for this loss?????
he played behind kwon alexander, an all-sec player and 4th round pick..no room for him in a 4-3...kendall beckwith played behind dj welter until they said enough was enough...deion jones was a great special teams player too..he say the field but not on defense

JJ has done neither of that even with the #1 player. I understand he (Simmons) can't do everything, which brings it to coaching. It's one or the other. The player or the coach.

I agree that JJ has done nothing with Simmons but the players have struggles around Simmons too. Blakeney played bad during the stretched where we did not have Hornsby and Victor. The role players played bad basketball when we played in Brooklyn and when we played College of Charleston. Thats not on JJ.

We go toe to toe with OU, beat Kentucky and then lose to lesser teams. That isn't on the players. The players play as they are coached.

We lost to lesser teams with Hornsby and Victor..Hard to win games when you dont have all of your key players. LSU has played how we expected them to play since Hornsby and Victor have came back. I think we should just wait and see how they finish the season and then have this debate at the end.
the mainstream media was leading the charge to fire coach miles..you had some against it and some for it...it was literally talked about by espn for 2 weeks straight..lsu fans of any sport overreact to the smallest thing..let coach jones do his job and stop bashing the man...it is the players fault just as much as it is coach jones. if tim quarterman actually decided to play well this year we would not even be having this conversation. lsu is in a good spot to finish second in the entire sec and we were predicted to finish fourth. stop overracting to everything
Don't blame the players missing free throws on Johnny. The player are the ones missing them. The players have to make 50 free throws everyday after practice before they can leave the facility. Alabama is a good basketball team and they will probably make the tournament because they have a lot of nice wins. LSU is still in a good position. We just have to win and this team plays better when people are doubting them.
why would LSU change the seating arrangements for the students. they are only showing up to watch ben simmons play and then they will not show up after next week. LSU has a horrible student section for basketball and it would be pointless to change it. they would lose money on that.
skylar green was more under saban than miles. PP7 was the better overall returner. Tyrann made 2 big plays that will out him close to PP7 but peterson was still better.

Well damn arent you a hard arse
Malik Newman will play the point guard position in college and in the pros so it will probably not affect Hornsby as much as it would affect Gray, Patterson, and Quarterman.

LSU is not missing out on him. He will be better off at Cincinnati. This recruiting class is very good and we do not need him considering most of our guards are returning next year and we are getting Antonio Blakeney and possibly Malik Newman.

Braxton Miller would be shite in this offense.

Um no. Braxton Miller has a great arm and he is a dual threat QB. He is also a Heisman finalist so I think he could fit in any college offense. Plus he would be better to watch than Jennings for another year.
It is not better but we still won the game and we still played for the national championship and we would have won the NC if we did not have to play bama.
I think Gordon is gonna struggle this week but I would play him anyway because he could have a break out game. For your WR3, I would play Williams. He a TD machine and he gets all balls that don't go to Dez or Murray.

re: Jarvis or Reuben?

Posted by Mizzou_guru on 11/20/14 at 12:39 pm to
Randle. Jarvis Landry has Mike Wallace on the other side of the field and he is only being targeted about 7-8 times a game. Randle is the Number 1 option in NY. I know ODB is there and he is arguable the #1 option but look at the stats. Randle is quietly having a good season. He gets targeted about 10 times a game so I would go with Randle over Landry.
If Gio is healthy, play Gio. He will get most of the carries, but Jeremy Hill is still gonna get his touches. This situation was just like the Arian Foster/Ben Tate dilemma a couple of years ago.

Kevin Love 17/10 39% FG 37% 3pt Per 17 35mpg as the 3rd option

Ryan Anderson 16/5 46% FG 41% 3pt Per 19 27mpg as the 4th option.

if you are talking about shooting than yes, Ryan Anderson is the better shooter but if you are talking about overall, Kevin Love is much better than Ryan Anderson. Kevin Love can play inside and outside and Ryan Anderson can only play outside. Love gets rebounds and Anderson averages 5 rbs/game and love averages 10 rbs/game. Overall Love is the better play and if no for Lebron and Kyrie, Love would be scoring a lot more like he did with the Timberwolves.
