Was anyone else a fan of UCF before this bowl announcement?

I kind of liked their scrappiness and them claiming the national championship to troll the Gumps.
Now that I've visited their message board, I find them to be like a mix between a ULL and Arkansas fan after shotgunning a few Bang energy drinks. Just absolutely obnoxious with the little brother syndrome.
I hope LSU smokes them in the Fiesta Bowl, but I also know not to count on LSU when it comes to bowl games. Every time I think victory is a sure thing, the Tigers manage to prove me wrong.

I don't hate them. Hell I'm pulling for them except for this game. But it's not a great matchup for LSU with both of our starting corners out

I still kind of like them. They sure know how to ruffle the feathers of bigger programs.
If teams don't like them running their mouth, then they should do something about it by actually beating them.

One of the old BCS computers ranked them #1, and the NCAA recognized it, so they didn't award themselves anything. They simply claimed what they were given. I don't blame them for shoving it down people's throats.
The fact that it still gets critics worked up makes it even better.

Except none of that was a troll, they actually believe they are nation champions. They had a parade and rings made
