Probably the TD pass to chase in the natty or CEH Bama

Yes. And it isn’t close. That call and play set the tone and established the identity of the 2019 team. There are other great memorable plays but the call to go for the first down instead of just running it and punting was who that team became. That play had great guts (emsminger), great design (Joe Brady), great protection (Joe Moore Oline), great read and throw by Burrow(Heisman), and great catch and run by Jefferson(best WR room in history).

Clyde also had an incredible blitz pick up that allowed Joe to step up in the pocket.

This is the only answer, though I think 3rd and 17 may have been the single most impactful play.

The bomb to Chase on the first drive at Alabama was pretty special. He jumped in front of Diggs and walked in.

It was like when Rocky cut Drago.

Too many to choose from but my personal favorite was the opening drive TD pass to Chase against Bama. I think we all had a little doubt from years of pain that what the team was doing offensively was going to crash and burn against Bama. As soon as the TD was caught I felt like that was it, we’re going to win and win-out. Wasn’t the greatest or most iconic play by any means but was the most significant to me.

That 3rd and 10 shoestring catch against Bama by CEH who stayed in bounds and somehow got the 1st is underrated. We don't get that then we punt to Bama and give them a chance to go down and take a lead in the 4th. Instead we get the 1st and go down and make it a 2 score game while draining more clock.

There was a scramble by Joe on 3rd and long against Bama in the 4th quarter that ended up on the cover of Sports Illustrated .

i would give it the edge.

The scramble vs UGA is discounted because we smashed them.

The Chase TD gets a little bump because we were down at the time but ultimately it gets discounted by the ultimate flow of that game.

The clyde play against Bama is close due to....well that game but there were a lot of plays in that game....Thad sideline for one.

UT catch was the biggest moment. Hell, it has a name and everyone knows it immediately. Its that one.

If that exact game had happened later in the season, we wouldnt even be talking about this lol. it wouldnt be debatable.

3 play stretch to close out first half vs UT

3rd & 17

Clyde catch and somehow stays in bounds 3rd & 10 vs Bama

Fake QB draw slant to Chase to get into Bama territory on final scoring drive

Burrow keeps on 3rd & 2 to set up final score

The first of many but that play showed how aggressive Orgeron wanted to be offensively. It also showed the dogs we had who wanted to win badly

To me, Jefferson’s best catch of the season was the onside kick at the end of the Alabama game. Alabama had the momentum at that point and them with the ball on a last possession drive could changed history.

Perhaps the best non-scoring play of the season.
