A game & a moment I will never forget. I feel so fortunate to have been there sitting 10 rows above the LSU dugout with some very good friends.
I never really saw the ball go over the wall. It was absolutely massive hysteria in the seats. After everything settled down a little bit, I realized that I wound up in the row behind me & 3 seats over. I have no idea how that happened! When I returned home 2 days later, my 10 year old daughter asked me what the marks were on the back of legs. I had bruises which had to be from the metal arms rests since my seat was in the old part of Rosenblatt.

Man I sure do miss listening to him call games. He was a true Tiger fan in every sense of the word and poured his heart and soul into each and every call no matter which sport he was calling. He may not have always got the calls right but by God he was one of us.

he was so exited...he called it a 3 run homer...but they quickly edited the broadcast for the replays of the call (like the Bluegrass Miracle call)

Finally got to meet him a couple years ago when he was dropping his daughter off at the same camp my daughter was going to. My Aggie wife didn’t understand my excitement. He was really a nice guy.

I can still see my 2 year old flying above me as I tossed him from the excitement. I swear he almost touched a 20 ft vaulted ceiling at my friend's house...

My Dad & I were at the game and it was unbelievable!!! And to happen on our first ever trip to Omaha.
We followed up the next year and got to see the Tigers smoke Bama in the Championship Game!!

My Dad had a triple bypass that day. The surgeon asked to move the surgery to the morning so he could watch the game. My ex and I watched at George’s on Highland while he was in recovery. The place was so packed it was like being in the stadium. They didn’t (and still don’t) have the best TV setup in there, so I had to rewatch it later to watch the ball leave the yard.
