Yes I do. I also know he won't see the field there and will transfer again before he ever has the opportunity to play us. If he does see the field, it's either b/c they are destroying us or we are destroying them. I hope it would be the latter.

Walker could have been the backup to Nuss this year and would have taken over the reigns next year. Underwood could have been the backup next year.

If Underwood is anything like the kid from Nebraska, he would be hard to beat out anywhere!

I’m so glad that kid isn’t in the SEC.

I wouldn’t be shocked if he transferred to Tulane after this year.

He likely wasn't regardless but he surely wasn't coming to compete with Howard.

Number 1. You have no idea about that for a number of reasons. Being the class following a 5 star qb enrollee certainly wasn’t enticing. Also LSUs interest completely changes if LSU doesn’t have Howard.

Number 2.
You ignored my point about Holstein.

Are you all thinking Nuss declares after this year?

Likely.

Weak QB class this year + next year LSU will be breaking in a new o-line, new starting RB, new WR1, and new TE.

he knew that LSU went all in on the WH basket when Louisiana had its best QB run in decades with him manning Holstein and Parrish. Taking him meant putting the others on the back burner.

Then he doesn’t even try to stay and compete, he decides to leave less than a year in after LSU was locked in and missed out on Holstein and manning.

Not only does he decide to leave he leaves for one of our most traditional rivals.
This is an exceptionally rational take.

Somebody gave this kid bad advice, and his name rhymes with Joey Freshwater.

You are dead wrong here. Kiffin didn’t give him advice. He did his job. His job is to recruit elite talent. Walker Howard was considered an elite takent. Kiffin recruited him to Ole Miss.

If you want to look at the person responsible look no further than Howard himself.

This is one of the most baffling QB transfers in the portal era. Nobody blames Walker for transferring out of LSU's talented QB room.

But why transfer to Ole Mrs, when Dart if firmly entrenched as the starter with TWO years of eligibility?
agreed.

I wish him well, I truly do.

But why, why, why did he transfer to Ole Miss. Horrible decision.

Transfer to a school where you can start immediately. Put up some big numbers, and then transfer again to a bigger school if it makes sense.

But transferring just to sit on the bench is absurd.

No, Dart had bad beginning and was thought to have lost his position in a battle with a senior, during the spring.
Thought was, senior would start, and dart would be pissed and leave (all signs pointed to this). If so, Howard would have been qb1 the next year.

Then Dart shows out in summer last year, wins the job, and gives kiffen a 2 year window in which high talent was brought in.

Honestly, Lane will be the highest paid coach in college next year, and it won't be st Ole Miss. So this story is just starting.

He absolutely would be the starter at tcu, had he went when leaving LSU, and he knows he f'd that up. Jack basically begged him.

His dad, mom, and sister are all Tigers. So is he. But he wants to play, but kiffen kinda has to do what coaches do, stack talent.

Doesn't help that ge dated Kiffens daughter and dicked her over.......kids!
