Haven't you noticed, players compete hard during the game, but after its over they hug, smile and congratulate each other.
I'd bet Howard and Daniels are close friends and respect each other.
Daniels is always smiling and so is Howard. Its difficult to dislike folks like that.

Dick move? If anything it was about respect. He wanted to make sure he acknowledged him.

By all accounts, the two guys developed a friendship last season. Such a dick move to greet your friend after a game. I'm not a Walker Howard fan but I bet he would have done the same had Ole Miss lost.
